Update:

Sooooooo you may or may not be wondering what I've been up to and what the next concoction I'm going to come up with may be. Well...

Long story short, I've left my job at Starbucks (on amicable terms, believe me!) and finished college. While doing what I did was fun and playing with the flavor palate was beyond enjoyable the time came that I move on in my career and take the next big step. So my apron has been hung up in a professional sense, and traded in for a different uniform that I'm genuinely happy in and eagerly look forward to having a long career in.

Now by no means am I done creating new craziness because come on, do you think I'm gonna stop? Just know that while I create new drinks I won't be able to test every single day. Thank you all so much for reading this blog and supporting me, and hopefully this will not be the last post.

Idea!

After discussing with longtime friend @chiikydoodles who was watching Star Wars: revenge of the sith -

A coffee shop/ pot dispensary in Colorado called The High Ground™. Built in a shop above a star wars themed bar called either cantina or Anakin. Preferably, Anakin. That way if anyone asks where I got that coffee: "it's over Anakin: I've got The High Ground™."

New series of posts: weird shit I say at work

Today, while making hot chocolate with my coworker and needing milk to steam, I held out a steel pitcher and asked my teammate "milk me."

Out loud.

In front of two women and three small kids.

We both immediately giggled and shook our heads at how wrong it was

New twist on an old favorite

The Lemon Meringue-

Best served either iced or as a frappucino.

To start you'll be using the same ingredients as a Lemon bar Frap- lemonade, ice, cream base, milk and vanilla bean.

The lemonade and ice will be the base layer, add cream base and blend for frappucino. Next, add the vanilla bean to the milk and foam up into a vanilla flavored cold foam. Top the lemonade or lemon Frap with vanilla foam and presto!

Let me take this moment to make a PSA

Attention everyone everywhere: on behalf of every Starbucks employee who has ever had to shut down or replace a blender, no I will not add extra ice to your frappucino or make it “extra thick” because you like the texture. Do you hear the whining and lack of blending going on when we hit the button? How the blender was super loud and suddenly got really quiet? You know how there are giant ass chunks of ice in your drink? That’s because the extra ice and lack of fluid is putting strain on the motor. We can liquify ice if we have base and some kind of fluid. So all of you ordering your frappucino extra thick, just stop. If we have to replace a blender because the motor fails, know that it’s your fault.

Top, and favorite Recipe: The Green Arrow

To start off, this drink is not ordinary by any means. This combines two very unique drinks.

To order: Matcha Green Tea Latte

+add a shot of blonde espresso (2 shots for grande/venti)

+add 1 pump each white mocha and peppermint (2 pumps grande, 3 pumps venti)

-for extra thickness use sweet cream.

Fantastic as hot, iced or as a frappucino

So welcome to this amazing Blog, and as the title says, proceed with caution. A lot of these drinks are very peculiar in construction but taste DELICIOUS. We started this blog as two Starbucks baristas with off-the-wall flavor combinations and a competitive nature with the compulsion to make the most bizarre surreal and absolutely tasty drinks.
