New year, new post, NEW GENRE FOR ME !!
I am not a big fan of romance but for my new year resolution I decided it was time for me to try reading something out of my comfort zone. Hence why today i am reviewing Archer’s voice.
It was a very cute book. If you aren’t a big fan of romance but want to dive into it, this is a good book to start with. It is something different than your typical romance books. The “speaking” is actually Archer and Bree doing sign language which to me was really cool. It’s why I wanted to read it in the first place. A few scenes from the book made me cringe (some of it wasn’t my cup of tea) but it was very adorable. Bree and Archer’s relationship was perfectly established and it’s one of those couples that if you were to see them irl you’d say “yeah that pair makes sense.” Archer’s story actually made me sad unlike previous romance book I’ve read where it’s usually a guy who’s father never loved him hence why he’s a big, mean guy. Archer’s reasons made sense as to why he was the way he was. Another reason why I kept reading the book.
The rating won’t be as high just because (again) some moments made me put the book away but that because of my personal taste in romance
