She’s all cleaned up! I’m sad that coding as an art form on this platform and the culture of sharing it is dying out, but I’m having a fun time revisiting it all. I’m probably gonna dig into some of my more popular codes and update them.

Hey everybody! So it’s been like..... four years since I’ve been on here, and in those four years I grew up, dealt with tragedy, graduated college, and got a big girl job in UX/UI design – I’ll be moving to Brookyln, New York next month! To all my amateur coders out there, keep going – making silly tumblr themes might make your future just how it did mine. If I didn’t get into coding, I don’t think I would’ve ever gotten into graphic design and be where I am now <3

I’ve recently looked around my old coding community and still see some people quite active – @yukoki and @magnusthemes I’m so happy to see you guys still making stuff and you two have also grown up! *I’m not crying it’s fine*

Anyway, I’m super inspired to maybe go off hiatus or at least clean up all the obsolete stuff on this blog. So many links are broken or messed up :- (

do you make custom themes?

i think i’m finally going to start up this blog again so maybe sometime in the future. i’m heading off to college and if i start up commissions for custom themes, they’ll be very helpful money-wise!

If a blog that hands out themes gets deleted does that mean the theme is now open to public? If so, that means that one can post the source of the theme right? I am not talking about your themes.

I believe that the creator of a theme will always own their theme regardless of their online presence. Always properly source (even if the source no longer links) because coding isn't easy and is extremely time-consuming. I think I answered your question? The only themes you can take credit for are the base codes theme-makers freely give to people, and they usually state "yes you can take credit and make your own theme with this"

I'm so sorry guys

I don't know what's going to happen with this blog. I love creating codes and I love watching what you guys do with them in regards to design and content; however, I have horribly lacked motivation. From thinking of a theme to finishing the handful that I've coded so far. Even thinking about the revamp process of this blog's theme is overwhelming. To give you an update of my life, I've just graduated high school and I'm currently taking the title of a summer bum in full stride. It feels incredible to have no responsibilities or obligations for once. In regards to the future, I'm going to be attending Maryland Institute College of Art this fall (my dream school!! I'm beyond excited!!!). I've always had such a talent and passion in art and now I'm going to be spending the next four years completely immersed in that world. SO. I'm hoping by September, I'll get my coding mojo back (along with everything else that requires motivation), and give you guys some awesome themes! For now, if you haven't yet noticed, I'm on hiatus. I feel so bad for never answering asks so please don't take it personally if I don't respond. I love all you guys and your support will always mean the world to me. ❤️

would it be at all possible to get the fish gadget header from the aqua descent code as a separate chunk of (credited! ofc) code? i'm interested in having it for my art blog.

I love your descent theme! It's beautiful. There's just one little thing I'd like to tweak that I can't figure out - the white background where the posts are displayed seems to be slightly transparent and I'd like for it not to be, since with my dark wallpaper it becomes a gray color that I don't like. Is there a way to change this? Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your work! ･ω･

Sorry for the late reply T.T but under appearance section, there should say “Dark Theme” or “Light Theme”? Just check it off and it’ll look more flattering against your dark background!

hi cutie I am really stupid at coding ;-; I really love your tag list 2 theme and I want to add more tags to the boxes but I don't know which line to delete could you make a screenie and point out the line that I should deleted to make more tags THANK YOU keep up the good work <3 xx

Extremely late reply, but the directions should be within the code. The extra tag box codes should be sandwiched between lines that say “REMOVE THIS LINE FOR THE EXTRA TAG BOX” yadada. Refer to lines 664 and 679 within the original code to see what I’m saying (but those aren't the only lines - there’s several more with the same notification)
