Power couple- except love isn't really what they have. I don't even think they'd use the term "friend" about each other. They're like each others shadows. And the power structure is not equal and Saville likes it like that. It doesn't offend or threaten him. It's just the way it should be. If Safin wants to be a god, Saville will be his first devotee.

one of my greatest pet peeves in fiction, and it is truly stupid I know, is that no one seems to understand how genuinely hard it is to kill someone via stabbing. stab wounds have a mortality rate of like 5%. especially abdominal stabbing. tv shows and movies show dudes getting stabbed one time in the lower abdomen with a tiny knife and then they fall over. like what did he die of precisely. that man died of Small Knife

Casino Royale

book cover designs

for a project in my college course i was asked to create different book cover designs for a book of our choice, i decided on Ian Fleming’s, Casino Royale (1952).

i was really happy with my covers and wanted to share !

this was a linocut of Bond following Le Chiffre away from the hotel in France - in reflection the print looks more like skyfall manor but we move.

this was a screen print of a revolver with poker chips in replacement of bullets, this was one of my favourite designs.

this was an ink drawing of Vesper Lynd holding a pistol (this is metaphoric for the bullet she put through Bonds heart after her death and confession).

this was the design i used as my final piece.

i took the photo of the bullet in the martini glass with a canon 600D - i think this was my most successful and striking cover.
