Hello! I thought i should probably do an introduction for myself so here it goes hehe.

My name is Nicole, most people call me Nico. I'm 17 and been playing the Sims 4 for not very long to be honest, around 2-3 years i think on and off. I have seasons and cats and dogs so far. I loveeee custom content and creating sims, spend more time downloading then actually playing most of the time 😅. I did post some videos on YouTube around a year ago but It's not something I'm going to continue doing probably as it's not my thing. From now on I'll be posting cas pictures, maybe some gameplay etc. Also have a ccfinds simblr @nicolai-ccfinds if you like my cc almost all there is on there, i have downloaded so enjoy!!

Early Access Creators - YOU CANNOT SIT THE FENCE THIS TIME. :|

Look, I love y'all. I know you don’t want to participate in so-called “drama” because you think it’s messy and shit. I get that, I do. But here’s the deal. Cowbuild and her cronies are making the whole patreon method of dealing with the sims look bad, and that affects YOU guys too.

Because of these bad apples, there are some people questioning if patreon is safe. Especially because Anto is involved, and he USED TO BE EARLY ACCESS.

You guys need to join in on calling this out and saying “No. This is not okay. We do not accept it, and we do not want this to be part of our community.” I and others have tried to explain that these bad apples don’t spoil the whole bunch, but when y'all choose to be silent on the issue, you don’t help your case. So now is the time to speak up. You don’t have to make your own post even. Just REBLOGGING what’s already been shared is enough.

Cause I hate these freaks who take this platform and turn it into something terrible. I’ve supported wonderful projects on Patreon but then you got these morally bankrupt people turning it into shit. 

No, this shit isn’t okay. Never has been, never will be. Before I started my patreon; I always knew that I was a simmer at the end of the day. No one wants to jump through hoops just to get their hands on cc. No one wants to feel like they HAVE to pay money to just have something they like in their game.

No one should have their safety threatened because none of these thieves can act right. Always have to cover their tracks, look behind them, spend all that time blocking and banning people who they THINK are leaking (again, they don’t even know and end up attacking the innocent pledges) because they’re scared they won’t get their money or that they’ll be outed for stealing meshes from 3d sites, second life, IMVU, etc.

I’ve already said it but you cannot force people to spend money they don’t want to, can’t afford it, are too young even have access to a card with money on it. Everyone and their fucking momma has a Patreon, it’s NOT POSSIBLE for the entire community to pay all of these creators, myself included! 

I’m gonna do a whole rant on my own patreon and tumblr either today or tomorrow cause this is foolishness and I can’t gather my thoughts rn.

I swear to god, I'm trying to do the 100 baby challenge and babes keep having miscarriages like girly work with me pleaseee, anyways apart from that I finally bought the cats and dogs expansion pack, do yall recommend the laundry stuff pack or is it useless? The idea of having laundry in the sims seems interesting to me but i dont know yet.

Ahhhhh i just learned how to render sims in blender, can't wait to see what I can do with blender scenes and using custom rigs!! This video was a literal god send so thanks a lot @seosims :)

I'll be posting my rendered image I did by following this tutorial as soon as it finishes rendering.

MINI EYESHADOW TUTORIAL

Read from left to right.

I use the uv mapped skin base, because eye shapes can easily get distorted! For eyeliners, it’s especially important to follow the mapping around the eyes. Using a soft airbrush, I quickly set down my first color. KEEP YOUR LAYERS SEPARATE.

Gaussian blur to your liking.

On a new layer, set down a darker crease base. I like to add a bit of the darker color under the waterline, as well. I forgot to show the next step, but it was just gaussian blur.

New layer. Add a lighter color to bring a bit of light to the lid.

Soft erase the lighter color from the waterline, and a bit of the top. This is preference. You can erase or not erase whatever you’d like!

Add some brighter dots for a cute glittery / highlighted affect.

Lower the opacity.

Lower the opacity on all layers ( if desired ). I personally prefer soft shadows.

In photoshop, I adjust the colors. Because, we’ve kept everything on separate layers, it makes it easy to make colors suitable for different skintones.

Make as many swatches as you desire. That’s all there is to the texturing parts! Drawing eyeshadows are pretty easy, as long as you use the uv map as a guide. I recommend following procreate artists on Instagram, because they often video capture their drawing process. I’ve learned everything I know from watching others draw.

I’m not going to go in-depth about S4S, because it’s pretty much the same process for most CAS textures. I will suggest changing the composition method in the warehouse tab to 0 or 4 ( test out which blend you like best ). 0 will leave the texture AS SHOWN. 4 will blend it into the skin, and may cause the colors to change. 4 works best for textures that have odd pixelation ( caused by transparency ). My texture is quite transparent, so I’ve used Comp 4.
