“Allegra and I met the day of our shoot, but hugged in my doorway as we greeted each other. We quickly began a dialogue about life and psychic mysticism, which was heightened by her hauntingly knowing eyes that never swayed from contact. She danced in my halls as I had a camera between us, and chuckled to herself about the meaning of life. To be so young with such boundless questions only fueled our encounter, and I proposed that we view life as a dream. Despite that notion being arguable, she pushed off one wall and onto another, twirling around, with a trance like stoicism, and she spoke about love. I was inspired to tell her how I believe there is much loyalty in a crush; to realize someones entirety without a gain beyond that knowing, that understanding of their beauty and potential. Quietly I began to see how that is also the truth for myself when shooting. Allegra echoed that remark quite literally, and I snapped my shutter as she pondered her thoughts. We ended the shoot shortly after, leaving me mesmorized by this real life daydream. A major pleasure in what I do comes from seeing and playing with another persons inner beauty, and my god, Allegra has it in golden bounds.”
