Everybody screws up. That’s what happens. It’s what you do with the screw-ups, it’s how you handle the experience, that’s what you should judge yourself by.

YES!!!!
Rory taking a 2005 flip phone selfie. Classic.
I feel like this should be my morning motto!
The worn marble steps at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This is the result of 500 years of walking.
Too. Much. Beauty!
I thought Elsa would look great in armor. (I wish I could draw armor better, though…)
"God also told me that your hat is stupid!"
I might lose followers for this?…

512 Hours - Marina Abramović
512 Hours at the Serpentine Galleries, London, was so intense!
Personally, I found it incredibly claustrophobic. It seemed to flutter between solitude and claustrophobia (which distressed me a lot). The setting felt like a place of meditation, a place to relax the soul and slow down. But it's also filled with people, and (for me) even closing my eyes I couldn't feel 'at peace'. I kept anticipating all the people around me, that at any one time someone is watching me as I try to relax. It was really strange, yet completely enlightening and revealing of my own insecurities.
Overall, it was absolutely incredible and so very delightful to also see Marina herself there.
I’m taking part!!!
LIGHTS OUT
"The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime."
Sir Edward Grey, Foreign Secretary, uttered these words on the eve of Britain officially entered the First World War. Exactly 100 years later we are inviting millions of individuals, households and companies to join together in a national moment of reflection.
We’re encouraging everyone in the UK to turn off their lights between 10pm and 11pm on 4 August 2014
– leaving only a single light or candle for this symbolic act of reflection and hope.
