This Blueberry Butter from the Slow Cooker is an easy and tasty spread that will give your favorite foods a fruity kick. It's vegan, naturally sweetened with maple syrup, and tastes warm and cozy thanks to the cinnamon and vanilla in it.
Ingredients: 4 cups fresh blueberries. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Instructions: Fresh blueberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon should all be put into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, stirring every now and then, until the mixture gets thick. When the mixture gets thick, use an immersion blender to make it smooth. Before putting the blueberry butter in jars to store, let it cool all the way down. You can keep it in the fridge for up to two weeks.
