I'm reading The Butcher's Masquerade (in chapter 24) and like, damn, it's justifiable, but Carl's anger is really getting to the "I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me" stage.

started reading dungeon crawler carl and im obsessed w the fact that donut picks the weird fucked up chicken as a pet and it turns out to be a fucking velociraptor

AU thought where Mordecai, through the help of the Open Intellect Action Network, gets his *non-combatant* tag removed after he becomes Donut’s manager.

With that removal of the *non-combatant* tag removes several of his restrictions. But it also means that if he wants to make sure he’s in the same safe rooms as the Royal Court he has to travel with them. So he has to trek along with them, cursing and complaining the entire way that he misses his guide-only town and his room and not having to walk all over creation.

During the Signet plotline on the third floor Mordecai is knocked out as well and when Carl wakes up he can’t wake him up either because of the Water Lily spell. He has to figure out everything by himself.

Signet suggests that Mordecai is his lover and Carl doesn’t even try to change her mind about it because he doesn’t want her to keep trying to charm him or have sex with him.

When Donut and Mordecai awake, Mordecai is startled by Carl’s recap of what happened. And that Carl never once thought of sacrificing Mordecai or trading his life for Donut’s to protect her.

Tfw you're recovered enough that you get to shower on your own but you're low-key dreading it because you come from a resource scarce space station and all showers are quick and cold and you know all your muscles are gonna get tense as hell and it's gonna HURT with your new wounds.

But then the shower is WARM??? Which you never even considered as an option and it feels SO good and you can feel all your muscles start to relax at once and then your body is low-key so overwhelmed that you pass out for a hot second and scare TF out of the nice guy who saved you.

Fanfic has never been, and will never be inferior to published works, and writing one does not discredit or devalue the quality of your work when writing another.

I love how Carl is so obviously the ai’s favorite, EVERYONE knows he’s the ai’s favorite. Yet, every time the ai does something for him Carl is always like, “Ohhh my god this fucking guy again. The ai must hate me…🫩”

Just finished dcc book seven and had to draw my favorite warlords!

Been absolutely obsessed with dungeon crawler carl lately and I love it so dearly and also oh my goodness I can’t describe it to anyone without sounding insane. The main characters are a man in his underwear who I do believe could kill God and his laser-shooting cat. They have both made me cry and think about trauma in new and impactful ways. The cat also does war crimes.
