To people who make system or plural related comics like ours, why do you make them? I’m very curious!

With us it’s because we like sharing our experiences with people similar to us because it helps US feel less alone in all of this, while also wanting others to feel seen. But even along with that, we make them for ourselves! We all love comics and they’re a good warmup practice and helpful for us to process things

I’ve seen a handful of system comic blogs pop up with an intro post and go “I don’t have comic ideas yet so send us asks” and it leaves me confused.. why make a comic blog if you don’t have comic ideas! Or if you don’t even like making comics!

Pretty much same as you! I'm the main culprit of wanting to post online, I'm so used to sharing everything on the internet (for a while commissions were our part time job). But it also helps to find a community that identifies with our experiences so much! When we were very much in denial we stumbled upon a lot of system comic blogs that helped put everything we'd been experiencing our whole lives into words/images. While we're definitely not a great example that people should follow, I still like the idea of others finding comfort in our art!

And it of course helps us process our own thoughts and experiences to draw them out, and it helps to not forget them! A lot of our comics are made right after the moment they reflect so it acts as a diary (along with our journaling).
