Final piece in this “Tokyo Storefront” watercolour illustration series. This is a really interesting sushi shop located in the Yanaka Tokyo district. I like how this building combines traditional Japanese elements with this designer’s white front and huge but simple sign. With this piece the storefronts series is finished. 

I really enjoyed painting the shops so I will probably do more such illustrations in the future. I will change the subject and the format a little bit though - I would like to paint some more horizontal buildings (like the Japanese bathhouses for example)! 

For now, ON to the next project as soon as my studio workload decreases a little (we are working 7 days a week right now). Thank you for watching and sharing this series, I will make the remaining making-of videos and maybe make a longer video to cap the series. Technical stuff:

「東京店構え #10」乃池

水彩イラストシリーズ「東京店構え」の10枚目で、とりあえずラストです。今回のお店は谷中にある寿司屋さんです。日本家屋的な部分とデザイナーっぽいフロントの組み合わせがスゴく好きで描いてみました。 気が向いたら似たイラストのシリーズをまた描きたいですが、もっと横長のフォーマットにして違った建物の種類にしたいです。（銭湯とか）今のところアニメスタジオの作業が多忙ですが、また新プロジェクトをつくります！ 残りのメイキング動画を編集したらアップ予定です。このシリーズをご覧になって、シェアしてくれてありがとうございました！
