     HMM…PERHAPS THAT WAS indeed the case. He could certainly see that. After all, maybe they didn’t wish to disturb the Pharaoh and ruin his relaxation with something he could potentially care less about. At least Nitocris understood him well enough! Such was to be expected of a fellow pharaoh! ❝They would not have been wrong, so I will forgive them.❞ Ah, it would most definitely be nice to leave this accursed building. All the stagnant grey and white was starting to aggravate him. He was tempted to tell the Master or Mash that they should find a way to make everything far more presentable to a king such as himself.

     Stepping through the door without a glance to Nitocris, he only looked to her when she leads the way to the park. ❝You did well in reading me and what I would prefer, Nitocris. Very good.❞ Rare praise given easily to his fellow ruler. ❝Besides, I grew weary of that ‘Chaldea’ and its snowy scenery. This is a nice change from that.❞

Praise was something Nitocris would always enjoy; and from someone such as Ozymandias, it would seem as though she was doing quite well. “No one can blame you. The same thing for too long can be quite tiring to the eyes.” As the park grew near, music filled began to fill the silence and the air became much more lively. Colors and vendors lining the area and the thick scent of mixed foods wafted freely.

“I hear there are foods and festivities from many countries here today, so if it pleases you, feel free to go where you will and eat what you’d like.” Not that he’d have to pay. A pouch she’d swiped should take care of their needs. Knowing Ozymandias, it wouldn’t be a good idea to lead him around for too long. It would be best to let him go where he found the most interest.

     WAS THAT SURPRISE HE had caught a glimpse of on her face? Did she think he would say no? Probably. Ozymandias had odd moods and could be either quite accommodating, or very difficult. There was barely any in between with that. Allowing her to lead the way, his mind ran with a bunch of different ideas as to what it was that she wished to show him. Whatever it was, it certainly had her feeling oddly excited. It wasn’t until she mentioned a festival that his attention instantly perked and a gleam of his own excitement shown within golden eyes. ❝A festival? Why has no one told me of this?❞

Reaching the door, she politely held it open for the man to walk through. “Perhaps they found it to be unworthy of your attention, but I personally think that it would be a shame for you to stay inside that building for too much longer.” Nitocris smiles proudly, allowing the door to shut when it was cleared.

“A festival with wine, food and events? You are a King so certainly you would appreciate being out and about during a time like this.” With a small nod, she begins to head for a nearby park. “I would suppose with your class you would be able to operate a modern vehicle,  but I wouldn’t see a point considering there would be no place to leave it.”

Being perfectly honest, Nitocris didn’t really think she would get this far and for a brief moment, the surprise was plain on her face. “Ah, yes of course.” That wasn’t to say that she wasn’t excited about the King's agreement to joining her, she was actually quite pleased. Turning around, she swiftly heads for the building’s exit, only pausing to look back in case she moved too quickly in her haste.

“Do you know, Fair King, that there is a festival of fine winery and music to be held today?”
