when i finished this semester i told myself i was gonna spend the summer prepping for my language classes next year and i have not done that at alllllll lmao. i am going to be taking both advanced latin and intermediate ancient greek next semester (probably not a good idea but that's how the scheduling worked out ghdsfjk) and i am Thoroughly out of practice w latin so my life will be much much easier if i brush up on it but have i done that? absolutely not. i have been thinking about rpf instead. this is entirely predictable but also i should really get on that 😭😭 maybe i will just work my way through some of the aeneid that would be fun

4: a story idea you haven’t written yet

about a bajilion lmaooo, a handful are a) an aroace quinn fear of being left out idea i've tossed around a little bit, b) the "biodsm au but aroace" idea (are we sensing a theme here), c) some kind of mcdrai shifter au thing, and then i have a whole bunch of things that barely count as ideas yet (like, i might try my hand at the qh ghost concept at some point, but that's really all i've got for that one)

19: the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

definitely something animal-related!! i try to put a decent amount of thought into people's animal forms for the shifter au, so i spend a whole lot of time on wikipedia lol. a lot of what i focus on are various vocalizations/social behaviors bc that ends up being very relevant most of the time, but i also spend a decent amount of time looking at various diet/physical description/sometimes relationship to humans and/or symbolism type stuff. in terms of the most interesting one, i'd probably say genets just bc i had never heard of them before i came up with the initial idea for the au and i'm very fond of them now!!
