I was a software engineer for 2.5 years and then decided to get out of the corporate world. I was always into creating things from the beginning. I started off with sketching in school, then moved to animation in College. I then tried writing a few stories as well. But photography happened to me by chance. I was at a friend's place and he had a canon A series digi-cam. I was suddenly attracted to the macro shots the camera took. The sepia tones and lighting effects got me going. I saved money from my part time job during my MCA years and bought a canon S5 IS camera. My first love with which I clicked a lot of pictures. I then happened to enter the music scene as well and became a vocalist for a band called "Velvet Minion". I did rock shows and really felt the stage and wanted to just continue singing. But the corporate world pushed me away from music and photography pulled me closer. Since 2011 when I got my first DSLR(Nikon D3100) I have not looked back. In 2012 I picked up my first wedding assignment. Then in 2013 onwards I have been doing a lot of wedding assignments. I got a Nikon D600 and in January 2013 and since then I feel more powerful and have been working on travel/wedding assignments. I got stuck with weddings since they offer a varied view of emotions and the opportunity to capture them. The challenge of capturing an emotion which lasts for 2 seconds is the lure of weddings. I love giving memories to people and when my clients say they are happy, I always feel overwhelmed. I got through the Biggest wedding photography awards in India organized by "Better photography" magazine and was a nominee in the category of "Behind the scenes" for year 2012. I create wedding stories and make sure not a single moment is missed. My team is dedicated and they make sure your wedding coverage produces the best results.

2 months back I turned off camera and mic access to instagram. But why? Instagram throws these ads at you which really is unnecessarry. They listen to our audio and see our attention and throw ads and ads. Nahin chahiye bhai ads. Moreover Instagram is a place to compulsively scroll a feed that never ends. Scrolling creates dopamine which gets generated because of curiosity to know "Whats Next?" But why seek whats next outside when their is more to seek whats next within. So yeah I am continuing my journey within. I just came out today because I wanted to add some feed to your endless feeds this new year :p Pic 1 : I am here standing in a village called Chehni Kothi in Banjar Valley of Kullu, HP. Total of 49 magazines used to create a backdrop of National geographic magazines for this portrait. If I had to use one thing to define who I am then it would be these magazines. Grew up reading them inside out. As a software engineer with 9 to 6 job in 2012, I had 2 hours daily in the metro to read them all. If you want to become something you are really passionate about then set aside motivation and inspiration. One must work at the level of Devotion. As promised I am back with a work piece I like a lot. Life at a farmhouse was a way of living for many of our ancestors. Eating and sleeping in fresh environments was not a luxury but a way of life. Ques : Who was the major contributor to Delhi's Pollution? P.S : Been away for a while from instagram but thats a conscious call I am sticking to as I want to upload only meaningful stuff on my feed from here on. Another call I want to stick to is to keep most of my posts around environment, nature and earth status. We need more awareness around earth situation then ever before. Ans : These photos and the next few are around the major contributor to Delhi pollution. Rice fields in north India (especially Haryana and Punjab) are cut for production around Oct-Nov every year. Now after cutting them, all farmers have 2 options; 1. To burn the remaining field 2. To cut the base and feed to animals. The farm at which these photos were taken won't burn and rather cut the remaining to feed animals. Its just a step extra but saves a lot of trouble for people in Delhi/NCR since pollution levels go crazy. A lot of farms in Punjab and Haryana are reluctant to cutting the base. These two images were shot from the terrace of my friend's farmhouse in Panipat. Two of them did 6 years of education in the field of computer science and after doing jobs etc are now farmers. They grow food organically. Given the status of earth and its population, I believe that organic farmers will have a big role to play in replenishing earth. Not only will they create the right soil, they will also provide the right food. Hanle monastery is made on top of a mountain overlooking Hanle village. The opposite hill in the distance has the #ISRO space observatory. I made this photo while we were leaving Hanle after an awesome ad shoot for Samsung India. I think I made photo of this monastery from all angles possible. This one stands out for me. I think the vastness of Ladakh can't be justified with a camera. You really have to be there to experience it.
