Meet my OC for Yumeshipping, Nikolay!
Nikolai is a Russian rabbit (yes, I wanted a rabbit, not a mouse, I don't care) who moved to New Mouse City not long ago; he's been here for no more than two years. He is now about twenty-two years old. While living in Russia, he became very withdrawn, fearful of others, and also had speech impediments, so he now uses sign language to communicate because he's afraid of saying the wrong thing. He originally worked for Franz Ravenrat, considering him his idol because he was the only one around, but after the events of the episode "Ravenrat," the professor was arrested for a crime, and Nikolai was left alone, deeply saddened.
Geronimo Stilton noticed Nikolai, invited him to his place and realized that he, too, was a victim of the situation and that he literally had no one to turn to, and it was he who suggested that Professor Von Volt hire him as an assistant.
Nikolai and the Professor become close, and quite quickly, Nikolai has to adapt to his chaotic and noisy lifestyle, because von Volt always has crazy ideas that he is in a hurry to implement.
Nikolai still misses Ravenrat and, to some extent, hates Geronimo for the fact that Franz invited him to be his assistant in his plan, and not him, but Nikolai understands that Geronimo is not to blame for anything; it's something irrational. Nevertheless, they are very good to each other and can help each other.
Nikita is also on neutral terms with Thea, has friendly relations with Ben and Pandora, who have come to see him as an older brother figure, and he also has a beef with Trap, because when he's here, chaos always ensues.
Nikolai notices that he's starting to fall in love with the professor, but he tries hard to suppress these feelings, considering them wrong. The professor, however, views Nikolai more as a son figure than anything else, and is very attached to him and concerned about his well-being.
