@niko4now
I need something.
Next season (cause I doubt it'll happen next episode) when Eddie tells Chris about Theo. About Buck being a single dad now. I NEED Chris to say something like "Cool, I always wanted to be a big brother" to Eddie's FACE. Ideally to Buck's face too, like it's the most normal thing to say.
And him taking the Big Brother role seriously from the start. No jealousy, he's too old for that. He's 15. He's been waiting for this moment. He's gonna go full Big Brother on Theo, teaching him things and everything.
Chris had a role so important on Buddie since the beginning. This is the opportunity to let him make Buddie Canon all by being the son this two idiots have had since season 2.
That's what I need.
I'd like some Chris jealousy but self-aware, 16 year old jealously. Not actively directed at Theo. Just a bit of being overwhelmed at the sudden change in his life, loss of only child and baby-of-the-family status, the question of what it means for his relationship with Buck.
if eddie could have married buck without his knowledge or permission he would have done it YEARS ago. for normal reasons.
i love all of the people reblogging this to go 'WELL WE DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW HE HASN'T'. you're so correct. would desperately love to be a fly on the wall after buck finds out because eddie was in a coma or something and eddie is trying to explain what a normal, rational, and logical move this was.
Buck would find out when the IRS did an audit (too mirror the Chimney and Maddie plot).
absolutely the most perfect way for him to find out. he's been doing both his taxes and eddie's for years, INCORRECTLY AS IT TURNS OUT, because apparently they're MARRIED. at first he thinks he's being pranked or it's some kind of phishing scam. there is a series of escalating phone calls concluding with eddie's phone ringing at like 3AM and buck, so hysterical that he's looped back around to total calm, going 'uhhh so eddie u wanna explain why the IRS is telling me we're legally married in the state of montana???'
PLEASE I AM CRINE
Eddie spending $2500 to not go on a date with a woman not even top 5 gayest things he’s done this season.
one of my favorite recurring themes on tumblr is when someone starts watching supernatural for the first time thinking "they can't possibly be that gay in the actual show" only to find that they were even gayer in the actual show
White boy go back to the start and try again
I love Pluribus and Severance both so so much and I love all of the protagonists in each show BUT I know in my heart that if Carol Sturka and Mark Scout switched places, Mark would immediately fold to the hivemind and Carol would have burned down Lumon within a week.
Me: Wow my flatmate is such a fucked up annoying loser, just like I am. Maybe with patience and communication, we can learn to co-exist without bugging eachother and even maybe be good for eachother?
Roommate today: Okay I've been holding back but I wanted to talk about these issues and -blah blah blah completely oblivious to how I have been tolerating her BS just as much-
Me: Wow. The audacity of this bitch.
simply dont monday
psychoanalyzing the gender/identity dichotomy between ice skating and ice hockey and coming to the more objectively correct conclusion that ice hockey is rooted in motherly feminine behavior of protecting the nest and that ice skating is about masculine peacocking of one's own physical prowess in seeking a mate

State terrorism charges have been dropped against Luigi Mangione. He is still on trial for the lesser charge of 2nd-degree murder.
remember guys. your new year’s resolution doesn’t have to be anything insane. two years ago mine was eat more protein. last year it was use a whole sheet of stamps. this year it’s going to be get better at putting on lotion.
Reached the episode of Pluribus where they reveal the famine. They really took over the whole world with zero plan on how to feed it?
It really struck me because they're facing a crisis of global proportions but the collective's main priority is still converting the 13 holdouts. I'm sure that the bulk of their scientific research is mostly dedicated to that and not figuring out what to eat.
My first instinct is to call the collective selfish, delusional, etc, but it just reinforces that it's not human. Maybe not even truly sentient/sapient, considering all the ways its bound by instinct or unable to really make choices.
Will someone give me one of those Chuck speech bubbles preeeeeetttty please
probably too late but
Pluribus S01E02
I was wondering why they were having a specific woman from wherever fly all that way... seemed pointless if you're a hivemind
Like maybe you'd want to deliver things but clearly there were people closer to the airport.
Turns out she WAS delivering something - her body. How creepy is that? We are nothing to the hive.
I'm a bit suspicious of the claim that Carol's emotional outbursts can hurt the collective. Seems very convenient for making Carol reign herself in and become more susceptible to Stockholm syndrome. Then again, that WOULD explain why they're being so co-operative and why they might not want to forcefully convert her - the damage from her distress (or from simply killing her off) would be too great
If it's true, the only way I can see it working is if the virus IS actually inside her too, affecting their network, but she's just resistant to the mind control effects and telepathy.
The other immune people having family or just chilling was a bit unexpected, but I guess it makes sense.
I liked Koumba, though towards the end I realized he's in denial too. I thought he was just taking advantage of the situation but I think he really wants to believe that he's just a kind of celebrity and that's the reason he's got hot women at his beck and call.
I don't think Carol is going to be able to get through to any of them, especially not with her lack of social skills.
