Anyone else feeling the urge to write but also just cannot be bothered to boot up the writing device
The brain has the words but is refusing to print
If someone with psychology knowledge read enough of my works and analyzed them i bet they would have so many diagnoses, insights, and concerns about my life
Thing is I have that knowledge and have to actively ignore analyzing my work cause fuck do the words flow and reveal shit im not ready for.
Someone give me the energy and focus to write more porn 🕯🧘♂️🕯
Brainstorming ideas for how to overcome the trebulations of a blind character.
Writing a blind character is tough. Very tough, in my opinion. Especially for my first project like this. I've had several ideas for how to tackle such a task, because the whole reason I decided to do this was because a "Blind Archer" character is such an interesting oxymoron and juxtaposition that I just couldn't pass it up.
Heal her blindness. Um... no. While this could work in theory, it undermines the entire idea of a Blind Archer. If all else fails, i'll resort to this, but only in a "Write in case of emergency" situation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Make her permanently blind and make every arrow she hits a stroke of dumb luck. No, thank you. I'd like to keep absurdity to a minimum. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
To combat her blindness, make her be able to paint a picture of sight by projecting her other senses through her eyes. In an analogy, imagine her vision being a canvas, the paint being the sensations, and the brushes being her other senses like feel, scent or taste. It was tough to conceptualize, and might be even tougher to grasp, so a passage might help.
"She entered the dining room. The howling of flames echoed from the torches on the wall. The wine glass on the table across the room — she could taste it. The rugs beneath her, the tactile sensation of the cloths adorning the tables, all of it, she could feel as if her eyes brushed over it. Yet, it was not her vision, but the spirit’s. It painted the picture in her mind’s eye, and she interpreted it.
While an interesting concept, I fear it might be too out there. So here I am. Does a concept as such seem to hard to grasp for the average reader? Let me know what you think.
Don’t you just love wanting to update something, you see the scene you’re gonna write but then you just can’t HEAR it and that’s what stops you from getting any writing done?
Someone pls force me to write this damn fic I've been thinking abt for months
Writing an outline for a new work and I have the characters, the settings, the concepts, the back stories, the playlists, the rough art work-- everything other than the plot. I have no plot.
