i genuinely dont understand how some people can sit in misery and constantly complain about how much things suck and then not want to do anything to improve. i had a situation with someone where i confronted them about complaining and not taking advice. and i told them to reach out to someone and take steps to get better, and i tried to convince them to put in the effort and they straight up told me “ill pass i just want to sit and rot”. like what is compelling you to not want to get better. i understand lack of motivation, trust me, i know better than a lot of people about that, but thats just a point where you cant blame anyone else for making things worse.
