I got inspired by Nobunagas full love bonus story. Where she doesn’t speak to him for 3 days. But featuring Mitsuhide instead.
Their voices were growing grating at this point. The war council had gone on longer than expected and his paticence was already at its limit. He just wanted it over and done with.
“Mistuhide” Nobunaga commanded.
Mitsuhide made his report as brief as possible. He wasn’t in the mood to with hold or tease around the subject like he normally would. The sooner this was over the better.
“What is it?” Nobunaga chided.
Was he being that obvious? “Nothing my lord.” He responded calmly, being sure to wear his usual smirk.
“I won’t ask again. You’ve been quiet, too quiet, and when you do speak it’s pointedly short. So out with it.’ Nobunaga demanded.
“It’s simply a lover’s quarrel my lord. nothing you need worry yourself with.” Mitsuhide assured.
Masamune let out a low chuckle from beside him. “The lass is angry with you huh? I’m more surprised it took this long.”
Mitsuhide scowled at him. Normally he would just laugh it off but his frustation was starting to get the better of him. At this point he didn’t care for apperances. He just needed to figure out how to fix things and being here was preventing him from doing so.
“So what did you do this time?” Hideyoshi questioned.
Mistuhide let out a deep sigh. “I honestly don’t know.” He confessed. Maybe one of them could them him. Perhaps she mentioned something. If he only knew what had happened.
“Then why not just ask her?” Mistunari asked with genuine curiosity.
Mitsuhide glared at him. “I would if it wasn’t for the simple fact that she’s refused to speak to me for going on 4 days now.” His irritation growing. If none of them knew or worse wasn’t going to tell him what was going on then he had no use for this conversation.
Nobunaga let out a deep laugh, gaining a sour look for Mitsuhide. “I’m glad the fireball hasn’t lost her spark.” He couldn’t resist chucking at expression Mistuhide wore. “Hideyoshi. Go find out what’s wrong with our princess.” He continued.
“Yes my lord.” HIdeyoshi spoke as he rose to leave.
“The rest of you are dismissed.” Nobunaga announced.
