Hello! I'm Nacho, welcome to blog. Pronouns are he/they and I'm over 30. I don't have a DNI/DNF, use your own judgment, but don't recommend following me if you're a minor because this is a personal blog and I do sometimes post about adult things like taxes and bills and sex. I'm not active in any fandoms but have a wide range of interests including animation, videos game, marine biology, dropout, and dad jokes, so you'll probably see a mixture of that on the blog. I also have a Xiaolin Showdown AU fanfiction I've been working on since 2015 that has its own blog here.

Also no, Shamu's hysterectomy did not violate tumblr guidelines. If you saw the version of the post with the removed image, it was removed because I asked tumblr to remove it. It took them three weeks to do it and I don't know why they decided to slap it with the "content removed" graphic instead of using the image I gave them to replace it, but whatever.

I've lightened the options to keep it short and sweet and to minimize artistic (and autistic) burnout.
I currently do not make enough money at my job to afford to live (Long. Fucking. Story.), so commissioned art is my supplementary income for the time being! While I'm working on projects like my PWYW illustration collection and putting my illustrations up on my redbubble as prints, I'm doing these in the meantime for money.

Idk I've just always liked him! I like how much he cares about his friends and I like how angry he gets over injustice. one of my og blorbos.

no honestly it's hard to pick. I'm kind of spoiled for choice here. i guess I love how into his disguises he gets in the third game it's so silly. sly "committed to the bit" cooper.

Born and grew up in America, moved to France as a teen (about a year or so before the events of the first game)

it's one of those things where it's like, for me at least, the rare canon het pairing that just absolutely works on every level. they're good for each other, they're good when they work together and when they're on opposite sides. and it's like, it could be really easy for it to feel creepy or onesided but it's clear from the first game that carmelita DOES return his feelings, but she's too hung up on her black-and-white view of good and evil to see him as anything other than a problem she needs to solve. and i honestly like. ok it's fun to play with her buying his amnesia act completely but i personally think she knew full well he was faking it and played along because she thought it was the only way they could ever be on the same side.
also she tops. obviously.
16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?
i don't have one??????? idk. i guess it's hard for me to see him dating or otherwise getting involved with any members of his gang (this includes the later additions like penelope and the panda king). I just don't think he'd go for that.
17. What's a ship for this character you don't hate but it's not your favorite that you're fine with?
him with neyla i guess. i think it's fun as a burning dumpster fire kind of ship that's doomed to end in catastrophe but i don't know if i'd say i actively ship it

COOPER GANG FOR LIFE BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY i especially love his relationship with Bentley and how it grows and evolves over the games. it's really good.

i don't like his relationship with bob because i hate bob and bob shouldn't exist. sorry bob. why couldn't they do a henriette level instead why'd they have to make up a caveman guy

okay as far as not liking, writing any kind of action with him is hard because i have to figure out what he's doing with his cane and how he's using it, and it's like a whole extra limb i have to think about (and he already HAS an extra limb because he's a furry and has a tail)
Favorite thing...idk, I like getting inside his head. especially when he's in denial about something, that's fun. everyone go read my fic where he's in denial about how not ok he is over murray leaving

he's just furry lupin III. i mean he's literally just furry lupin and carmelita is furry zenigata. it's great
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
i think the first time i ever saw him in anything was ads for sly 2 in disney adventure when i was like 10, and my impression was "ew this raccoon guy looks weird" because the ads were these low-res screenshot comics. i probably would have liked them more if they used the stylized vector drawings that they use in the cutscenes.
now, i mean like. i'm not exactly active in whtever level of fandom exists for the games but he's like an old friend. i love those games so much and i feel like i caarried him with me as i grew up.
oh also as a kid i was like "wow! he's like 20 whole years old! he's so mature!" and now i'm like "holy SHIT this is a BABY. you should be at the club"
