omg ok yay <3 well the honest answer is since ive got home from university ive been listening to like nothing since my routine changed and i have less time :( theres so many albums i want to listen to that i haven’t got around to yettt

ok but i’ve been getting a lot of my recent music taste from a particular radio show i’ve been listening to, hosted by my music professor from second yr #i love campus radio

i’ve been really obsessed with the album magnolia electric co. by songs: ohia for the past year i think ive played almost was good enough about 900 times and im trying to work it out on the guitar. (check out Just Be Simple you may recognize some lines..)

more albums i’ve been into recently: Getting Killed and 3D Country by Geese, American Water by Silver Jews, Brighten the Corners and Crooked Rain Crooken Rain by Pavement, The Dirty South by Drive-By Truckers, Burnover and I Looked Out by Greg Freeman, also Kaputt by Destroyer

i’ve also been trying to get more canadian with it with albums like Bite Down by Ribbon Skirt, 1783 by Aquakulture, and Hometowns by the Rural Alberta Advantage

and in general ive been crazy about the smiths and the smashing pumpkins recently but thats mainly due to my interest in nirvana the band the show and matt johnson’s work

"I wanted to shoot this sequence where I was running into a train, and the train would be barreling into me. Just to show audiences how crazy I was. I wanted to jump off the tracks at the last conceivable second. Everyone else said I was going to kill myself...that I was actually going to die. Matthew Miller called all the people I had gone to film school with and told them not to film this scene with me. I was trying to get this scene shot 'cause the train tracks were right behind Jay's house. I could shoot it whenever I wanted and nobody would shoot it with me 'cause Miller had told everybody they weren't allowed to 'cause I was gonna die.
