Hello! This is my fanfiction blog. I'm a new fanfic writer so please go easy on me! I'd love to hear your opinions, though. I'm a big otome fan. I've played most of the Volatge and Ikemen games and some Cheritz. Mystic Messenger, SLBP, SCM, KBTBB, SITS, MLFK, Midnight Cinderella are some of my favorites. I'm also an anime fan. I love Yona of the Dawn, Bungou Stray Dogs, Boku No Hero Academia. I am also a Voltron fan so don't mind me if I write stories about them. I'm an ARMY fan! BTS is my favorite kpop group. Hope you enjoy my blog!
This isnât a story update for SLBP or Mystic Messenger. I just wanted to say thank you for following me and enjoying my stories. I apologize that I havenât finished them yet. Iâve had strep throat for over a week now and Iâve been completing homework and a midterm paper worth a huge chunk of my grade while sick. I havenât had time to finish the stories, BUT I will have one for Saizoâs and Vâs out this week! Promise. I have caught up and Iâm recovering (albeit slowly). But seriously, thanks for following and being patient for those who have read what Iâve written and are waiting for the next parts. Hopefully, youâll enjoy both stories. I know I enjoy sharing them!
OTBS fluff with Akiyoshi plzzzzz I'm so happy your request is open!!!! đđđ
Thank you for the request and the excitement!

The kitchen was a mess of spilt flour and powdered sugar, egg shells and chocolate chips littered the counter. In the center of the mess was MC hard at work, frantically stirring the batter bowl in her hands before her fiance returned from work. It was the beginning of a three-day weekend, and she was determined to surprise him with a sweet treat after work. She knew all his favorite flavors of cupcakes from the bakery between work and their home, and MC had been secretly hoarding recipes for todayâs surprise. She poured the batter into their respective tins and placed them in the oven. After setting the timer, she took in her surroundings. She was normally much neater when it came to cooking, but the excitement of making Akiyoshi something she knew heâd love made her work hasty. Laughing to herself, she swept the litter from the counter and into the trash. She wet a rag and wiped down her work surfaces, leaning down to check the oven every so often. All throughout her work, she hummed a simple melody with a smile on her face.Â
Part 3 is out! Not gonna lie, this is my favorite part so far. I had a lot of fun writing it. Maybe itâs because there were people looking forward to the story so it made it a bit more exciting to write. Either way, thank you so much for the kind comments! They mean a lot to me. Iâm glad there are people who enjoy reading my work.
For those who asked me to tag you, this is dedicated to you guys because I probably would have taken longer to finish this if you werenât so excited to read it ^.^ Itâs actually a lot longer than the other two parts.Â
@little-mini-me-world @frywen-babbles @bearlennox @catchthespade @italian-love-cake (Iâm sorry, bearlennox, the tag isnât working on yours!) Hopefully you see this!
Already working on Part 4 :D
EDIT: I noticed some typos and awkward sentences so I fixed them. No real big changes. Also put undercut since the story is kinda long.
Modern Day:
âAnother order of dango over here, Sayuri!â
âAlright, give me a minute! Iâll get your order ready,â Sayuri smiled warmly at the customer before turning back to the one in front of her. âThis is for you, sir.â
âThank you,â the man said in a deep voice that purred. Sayuri thought this every time he came in, but Takeda-san (she had learned his name from Yukimura) was quite handsome. His posture was catlike and his personality large. She had no interest him, though. But it didnât hurt to look, right?
Sayuri smiled politely at Takeda-san before turning to the man beside him.
âAnd a plate of donuts for you, Yukimura.â She placed the large pile before him, Yukimuraâs eyes turning round as saucers, his smile giving him the appearance of an excited little boy.
âThanks, Sayuri!â He looked up at her as he shoved the fried dough into his mouth. âYa foo awas da bes!â
âSwallow your food before you speak, Yukimura,â Takeda-san laughed heartily as he took a bite of his dessert. Yukimura swallows in one huge gulp before blushing in embarrassment.
âSorry, Sayuri.â
Sayuri smiles and lets out a chuckle. âItâs fine. That just tells me you enjoy my food so much you have to eat while you talk.â
Yukimura grinned in response. âIâm not the only one who loves your food,â he said. âYour restaurant is booming with customers. You sure you should be talking me while itâs so busy?â
Just as he asked, off to right and behind, the bell over the entrance chimed, announcing a new customer. All three turned, Yukimura and Takeda-san in mild curiosity and Sayuri waiting with a welcoming smile.
âWelcome to Sakura Dango, please have aâoh!â Sayuri cut herself as she saw the customer, eyes widening in delight.
âSasuke-kun!â
âHiya, Sayuri!â Sasuke gave a wide, toothy grin and said, âCan I have more of your dango today?â
âOf course, you can.â
âDonât eat too much, Sasuke,â a broad shoulder man standing behind him said. He looked like an older version of the little boy. The woman standing next to him gently chided the man.â
âRyo,â she said gently, âitâs his birthday. Let him have what he wants.â
The man, Ryo, sighed, but gave a weary smile. He looked down at Sasuke and patted his head. âAlright, go ahead. Order what you want.â The boy practically bounced off the walls in excitement.
âThanks mom and dad!â
Sayuri laughed as Sasuke bounded towards a table. He was always like this. His parents spoiled him, but Sasuke never let it get to his head. He was sweet and playful and he adored his parents as much as they loved him. It warmed Sayuriâs heart.
âOi, Sasuke!â Yukimura was looking over at him, stern expression on his face. âWhy are you ignoring me?â
âOh, hey Yukimura-san,â he responded happily.
âThatâs better,â Yukimura nodded in approval. âHowâs your martial arts classes going?â
âIâm at the top of my class,â Sasuke said proudly, chest puffed out. âNo one even comes close. I even have to hold back so I donât hurt the other kids.â
âNice! Youâre a true warrior! You sure you werenât a ninja in your past life?â
âIf he was, he would have been quite the troublemaker, Iâm sure,â Takeda-san offered up with amusement. The entire restaurant, familiar with Sasuke and his antics, nodded in agreement before bursting into fits of laughter.
Late evening came and Sayuri closed up shop. She smiled to herself as she started walking down the street.
Itâs always nice to see everyone. Iâm glad my food plays a part in bringing people together.
She opened this restaurant because her father encouraged her to pursue the culinary arts.
âYou have talent,â he had said. âYou might even be better than me,â he laughed. âYour food makes people smile. Thatâs the best reward you could ask for in life.â
She carried those words even now, but something tugged at her heart.
I want to share that smile with him.
The ache grew stronger as she walked down the street toward home and it didnât go away even in the morning.
Sayuri woke before dawn, as was her routine. After dressing for the day, she made her way to the kitchen and made a batch of fresh, warm dango, placing them carefully in a box. She headed out, wrapped in a light jacket, seeing as though spring had come it was still a bit chilly. Even so, the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom, an array of pink and white petals gently swaying in the breeze.
She made her away along the sidewalk for a while before reaching a park. An expanse of green was spread out before her, with small hills pattering the scenery. On one of those hills stood a sakura tree of grandeur size. Its branches spread out like a canopy, its trunk was three times the width of Sayuriâs arms if she spread them out to her sides. The petals were a vibrant pink that even in the still-just barely-dawn glowed brightly.
Sayuri sat at its base with practiced ease, box of dango sitting in her lap. She looked up at the skyâ
And waited.
Time passed like that until the sun started to peak over the horizon in a blaze of fire and gold. It was a stunning view, but from a distance all anyone would be able to see on her face were tears that streamed like rivers down her cheeks. There was a sadness so deep, it would take a boat to cross the chasm left in her heart. Sayuri stayed like that until the sun was now out in full bloom, until the sound of footsteps jostled her from reverie. She looked up.
There was no one there.
She glanced around her, but there were not many places to hide in this large, open space.
âI guess I just imagined it,â she muttered to herself. With that, she pulled herself up, pushed her long, black hair out of her face, and walked awayâdango in hand.
Saizo gazed longingly at Sayuriâs back as she walked away. From his perch in the cherry blossom tree, he was able to see everything that happened belowâthe melancholy of her back as she leaned against the trunk, the whites of her knuckles from gripping the box of dango too hard, the tears that reminded him of rain with no chance of sunshine. Saizo saw it all. He nearly leapt from the tree to present himself to her, to ease her pain if only a little, but just as he reached a hand towards that silky black hair he stopped himself.
Once Sayuri was out of sight, Saizo jumped from the tree to the ground, never taking his eyes off where he had last seen her. Behind him, he felt a presence, but this time he didnât tense.
âWhy didnât you talk to her?â Ichthys asked, complained really. âShe was right there!â
Saizo didnât reply.
âMaybe heâs nervous,â Dui offered, kindly. âHe doesnât have a lot of time. Once his wish is granted he has to go back to his own time.â
âWhy are you guys here, anyway? Youâre not Wishes gods.â Ichthys looked at Punishment gods next to him. Dui fidgeted, but Scorpio only glared.
âNeither are you, problem child, but Zyglavis gave you permission to help the Wishes gods and I have to keep an eye on you.â He crossed his arms in irritation. âFreakinâ stupid if you ask me. This human is gonna die when he gets back.â
âScorpio!â Dui interjected, but Scorpio wasnât having it.
Hey you,â Scorpio called out to Saizo who was uncharacteristically silent during all of this. Saizo barely spared him a glance.
âWhat.â
âDonât âwhat,â me,â he yelled. âAnswer the problem child. Why didnât you talk to her and eat the damn food? We canât babysit you forever.â
Still, Saizo gave no answer. Scorpio lost his patience.
âHey! Iâm talkinâ to yâ,â Scorpio had reached out to grab the ninjaâs shoulder and in doing so brushed the skin peeking between the ripped fabric.
I donât deserve her.
Saizo thought about all the lives he had taken, whether for survival or money. He couldnât even remember all their faces, most didnât even have names. Everyone called him the Lord Assassin because he was the best at killing. That was all he was good at. The little lady had come into his life suddenly and without warningâas a child when he grieved and blamed himself for his friendâs death and when they had both grown, her into a beautiful, kind woman. And him into a monster.
So when he saw her now, Saizo could not bear the thought of hurting herâof leaving her. He had already done so. He had heard Scorpio and the other gods: When all is said and done, heâll die ninjaâs deathâas had been his fate from birth. He would never make it to the cherry blossom tree to eat dango with Sayuri. She would hurt for lifetimes after.
You deserve better than me, donât you, little lady. It wasnât a question. He would not be with her in this lifetime either so why put her through more pain?
âIt doesnât matter what you think she deserves.â
Saizo jolted from his thoughts and looked up to see Scorpio glaring scornfully at him.
âNot minding our own business, are we?â Saizo stared coldly back. God or no god, heâd be damned if he let this guy read his thoughts again. He stepped lithely out of the godâs reach. He knew what this one could do. Ichthys had told him. Scorpio didnât back down, though.
âIt is my business because these two idiots,â he pointed at Teorus and Ichthys, âare busting their asses off to make sure the first and last wish of your life gets granted. And I have to babysit one of them while they do it.â
Neither Saizo or the gods said anything to this. Scorpio continued.
âYou might not have made it in your current, her past life, but you can keep your promise in the life sheâs living now. Obviously, that stupid woman is waiting for somebody. How âbout you grow some balls and stop making her wait!â
Everyone stared in shock, the gods especially. Scorpio was the last person to involve himself in other peopleâs affairs, but Saizoâs thoughts and his own ire set the Punishment god off. After a long, awkward silence, Teorus finally spoke up, having been silent the entire conversation.
âYou know,â Teorus added, âwe may be gods, but on earth our power is finite.â
âWhat do you mean?â Saizo asked.
âIt means,â Ichthys interrupted, âthat weâre starting to tire out. Earth makes our powers weaker so we canât use them forever like we can in the Heavens. Arenât you starting to feel a little achy,â he looked Saizo up and down in scrutiny, examining the wounds that, at the moment, were not bleeding.
âA bit,â Saizo said nonchalantly. He could feel the wounds starting to itch and burn and ache. Luckily, the poisonâs effects were still being held in check by Teorus and Ichthys.
âHow much longer do I have?â
âA couple of days at most,â Teorus said cautiously. âBut weâd really be pushing it.â
âThatâs all itâll take,â Saizo said.
âMan,â Ichthys cried out, âIâm going to need a long vacation after this.â
âLike hell you will! This is the most youâve done your entire career as a Punishments god!â
âGuys, letâs just all calm down.â
As the gods argued back and forth, Saizo stared up at the sky now a soft, beautiful blue, with the sunâs light casting a kaleidoscope of hues through the air.
So different from the night Iâll die.
Saizo stood on the corner across from Sakura Dango staring through the glass at the little lady smiling jovially at customers. He had never had reason to be nervous, but for some reason his heart was pounding loudly in his ears and threatening to rip through his chest and sprint towards Sayuri. With a deep breath, the ninja stepped forward.
âWait!â
Saizo looked back in annoyance. âWhat problem do the gods have now?â
Teorus and Ichthys stared in horror at him.
âYou canât go looking like that,â Teorus said, aghast at Saizoâs attire.
âSorry, seems they didnât give me enough time to change before dying,â Saizo said blithely.
âNo worries,â a god with pink hair spoke up beside Teorus. âGods can make miracles. And Iâm pretty good in the fashion department.â
âAnd who might we be, hmm?â
The god held out a hand. âPartheno, god of beauty.â
Saizo looked bored out of his mind and showed no sign of reciprocating Parthenoâs greeting. Partheno dropped his hand, unperturbed.
How many of them are there? Saizo wondered.
âLetâs make you so handsome that cutie falls head over heels in love with you all over again!â Snapping his fingers, Partheno transformed Saizoâs clothing so now he was dressed head to toe in urban fashion. A white T-shirt was overlapped by a gray vest and checkered scarf. His pants hung off his hips in a provocative way and his shoes were shiny and clearly expensive. Saizo looked down at himself before glancing back at the god.
âInteresting clothes this time has.â Not very good for assassinating.
âYou look great,â Partheno said. âNow go in there and get your wish.â
The gods watched as Saizo made his way to the door of the restaurant, holding their breath in anticipation.
Saizo hesitated only briefly before pulling the door open; the bell chimed. Sayuri looked up, locking eyes with the ninja. Saizo felt his heart stop, starting again at a faster pace. She was beautiful as she smiled at him, though it seemed to falter before regaining its proper form.
Summary:Â Although she didnât know why the change in weather seemed to bring about a similar change in character, MC knew that even foxes have their moments of uncertainty.
Notes: A Hurt/Comfort fic because That One Scene⢠in Saizoâs Main Story got to me. For @fromthedeskofelizabeththird and @catchthespade, my two favorite Saizo fans. Hopefully someday Iâll do him justice. AO3 Link
It was one of the first rainy days she remembers since coming to Kai, the sound hitting the outside walkways reminds her of a time not long ago where her fingers raked through silver locks. She remembers how his brow furrowed with each rolling thunder cloud, and how his feverish skin felt beneath her gentle touch. Although she didnât know why the change in weather seemed to bring about a similar change in character, MC knew that even foxes have their moments of uncertainty.Â
So I love this with all my being and couldnât help but reblog this amazing story. Itâs beautifully written AND it has my favorite character Saizo ^.^
Son. Spitting image of Dad with your temperament. Picture Scorpio, only nice with good manners. Sexy? You better fucking believe it. He was a beautiful baby, a handsome boy and the very definition of perfection as a man. There wasnât a woman who could resist him if he wanted her. Surprisingly gets along great with Dad. Actually helped Scorpio to relax a bit and have better manners. Well, at least toward you. Your son loves you more than anything in the world and there is nothing he wouldnât do for you. Including sometimes brawling with dear old Dad. Your son is very strong. His ability? Unrivaled strength. He can crush metal in his hand as if it were paper. Great for keeping you safe, bad for ladies hearts. He gets along with all the kids but has a crush on one in particularâŚ
Dui:Â
Twins. Daughters. Absolutely gorgeous. They look like Daddy. Big time. Personalities though are polar opposites. One is sweet, shy and well mannered. The other is a sassy outgoing know it all but at the end of the day they both are Daddyâs little angels. Dui is a loving Daddy. Doting yet a good teacher. No matter how angry either of your girls get all it takes is a smile and hug from Daddy to make it all better. That holds true their entire lives. From little girls to grown women. One has the ability to control oneâs mind the other to control oneâs body. They are considered dangerous by many and are the only kids that end up being personally educated by the King himself. They eventually work for him making you and dear ol dad so very, very proud.
Ichthys:
Son. Looks more like you but has Daddyâs personality. This kid is the very definition of trouble. You thought Ichthys was bad? This kid makes Daddyâs pranks look like childâs play. Daddy couldnât be prouder. Had to be home schooled. Need I give a reason? Despite being a trouble maker your son also has a gentlemanly side effectively driving the ladies crazy in all the right ways. He actually has self control where Dad does not making him far more dangerous as itâs much easier for him to get away with stuff. You swear that kid spent more time in time out than actually playing as a kid. Loves to cook, also loves to eat. His appetite is insatiable, thank heavens he can materialize his own food and ingredients otherwise youâd be broke. His special ability? Manipulating the elements. You have often wondered why as it seems more like a punishment than a gift. How many times did that kid accidentally start a fire? You lost count by age 3. Â
Krioff:
Daughter. Sheâs gorgeous. Long silver hair and silver eyes make her look otherworldly. Sheâs extremely intelligent and gentle as a lamb. Sheâs your best friend and you two share everything together. Her one true love will always be her Daddy. There is no one in the universe she will ever cherish more. Krioff is a wonderful Father. She is the only one he ever fully opens up to and can always be himself no matter what around. He takes her horseback riding every weekend and has always done so since she was a little girl. Even as an adult there is nothing that ever comes before Daddy Daughter time. Heâd never tell you even if he wanted to all the things he does to ensure her happiness and future. You have no idea but he actually used to sit down and play princess tea party every day after work. Her special ability? Control over the weather, both on Earth and in the Heavenâs. Sheâs the first god in history to possess such an ability making her a very unique soul.Â
Partheno:
Son. He is so beautiful he is often mistaken as a girl when very young. He looks a lot like Daddy but there is certainly some of you in there too. He is the center of attention everywhere he goes and he often spends time indoors trying to avoid the crowds that follow him every time he leaves the house. Partheno is an extremely great Father. You actually find it hard to believe at first but he is always there to pick his son up when he falls and steer him in the right direction. They are truly best friends. No one would ever guess it but Partheno probably loves his son more than anyone loves their children. Why? Love is sacred to him and though he loves you his son is a product of the very element that saved him and gave him a new life. Your son is truly loving and kind but also very protective of his Mama. People better not get on his bad side though, he wonât hesitate to put anyone in check. Otherwise he is a perfect gentlemen at least on the exterior. What goes on behind closed doors is another matter and that area you leave solely up to Partheno to handle. After all, what you donât know wonât hurt you right? RIGHT? His special ability? To create something beautiful out of darkness. Anything that is ugly and desolate he can turn into something that will steal your breath away. Though you never spent a dime your home has nothing but the finest things life could ever have to offer.
Zyglavis:
Daughter. She puts Aphrodite to shame. She definitely looks like her daddy and boy does she act like him too. You often think sheâs too smart for her own good. She has way more patience than Daddy and she loves so deeply it often leaves her broken-hearted. She is a sensitive soul. As a child she truly believed all her stuffed animals really were real and had feelings. A boy from school learned the hard way when he punched one to see her reaction. Zyglavis actually laughed and highfived her when the angry parents took their child and went home. She is the very definition of Daddyâs little girl. She has Zyglavis wrapped around her finger and it always makes you smile. There is NOTHING he wonât do for her no matter the cost to him. If there truly was such a thing as soul mates you knew without a doubt those two defined it. Two peas in a pod at every stage of life. Biggest No-No? Donât ever let her catch you saying something bad about her Daddy. Sweet baby Jesus she can make Zyglavis look like a push-over when sheâs pissed. Only woman in history to actually have the audacity to slap Leon in the face. She didnât even hesitate. Zyglavis was SO proud. Her special ability? Opposite of Daddy. She manipulates light. When the two of them team up they can actually be utterly terrifying. All the boys refer to her as Beauty and the Beast. Her biggest crush? Ichthysâ son. Pissed would be an epic understatement for Zyglavis.
Sorry for the wait on this story. I wanted to make sure I had the storyline clear before continuing. I am working on part 3 so hopefully Iâll have it done by Saturday. I hope you enjoy this story! Thank you!
You can find Pt. 1 here.
Also, I am dedicating this story to @little-mini-me-world because your comment made my day. Thank you so much!
Modern Day:
The moment Sayuriâs name leaves the strange manâs lips, Saizoâs heart stops as if it had slammed face first into a brick wall.
Sayuri, he thought. The little lady is still waiting for me, but IâŚ
Saizo could see her smiling face clearly in his mind, his chest aching with the knowledge that he was dead.
Wait. Dead? That canât be right.
It was in that moment, the ninja realized he didnât feel any pain. Without letting his guard down against this Teorus, Saizo assessed his bodyâs condition. His clothes were torn where he had been struck by many weapons; they were soiled in bloodâhis. The wounds he could see between the gaps in his clothing were wide open, but strangely, there was no blood seeping from them.
âWhat the hell,â Saizo muttered quietly to himself.
âYouâre not dead yet.â Saizo looked over to Teorus who had been patiently waiting for him to finish his once over.
      âYet?â
âIchthys and I are keeping you in a frozen state,â Teorus started.
âIchthys?â Saizo cut Teorus off. There are two? I didnât sense anyone else nearby.
âYeah,â Teorus continued. âHe was here a while ago, but he got bored when you didnât wake up. Heâs probably playing a prank right now. Heâll be back soon.â
Though the Lord Assassin was used to unexpected situations, this was starting to give him a headache. In a short amount of time he was already being bombarded with large amounts of new information, but none of it seemed to make sense. Saizo took a deep breath.
First, just get some answers from this guy. I need to know if heâs an enemy or not. He knows about the little lady so what else does he know? Iâll figure out what to do next once I get those answers.
      âTeorus, right?â
Teorus, who had been mumbling to himself about an absent Ichthys now looked over at Saizo quizzically.
      âYeah, thatâs me. Whatâs up?â
      Strange accent.
âYouâre not being very clear. Why donât we start from the beginning, hmm?â
Teorus tilted his head, curiously. âSure, Iâll try to explain as best I can. Letâs seeâŚâ Thinking for a moment, the strangely dressed man finally nodded to himself. âOk, I think I got it.â
âLetâs hope so,â Saizo smiled coldly. Teorus held his hands up mockingly.
âOoh, thatâs a scary look. Though,â he smiled silkily, âyou might not be looking at me like that once I explain.â
âWeâll see.â Saizo was in no mood for games.
âAlright, well first off,â Teorus starts, âIâm Wishes god and Iâm here to help grant your wish.â
Saizo frowned. âA god who grants wishes?â Teorus nodded.
âI come from the Heavens and work in the Wishes Department. We grant humans their wishes. I received your wish and came down to Earth to grant it seeing as this is a special case.â
âWhat wish did I make? And what makes me a special case?â
Teorus smiled sadly at him. âYou wanted to eat Sayuriâs dango one last time before you die.â
Thatâs right. I remember thinking about the little lady and her dango. Right before IâŚ
      âI died,â Saizo said simply.
âDidnât you hear me before?â The god asked exasperatedly. âYou were on the verge of death.â He paused. âYou still are. Thatâs why youâre a special case. I have to use a huge amount of my power to keep your body frozen in time and move you to a different time period. Normally I wouldnât be allowed to do any of this, but youâre an exception.â
Saizo thought for a moment. It was hard to wrap his head around such a bizarre story. Even Yukimura who believed almost anything you told him would have a hard time believing this. But he couldnât ignore the state of his body or his strange surroundings. He especially couldnât ignore the god standing before him who at this very moment had decided to snap his fingers. A square box appeared in Teorusâ hand as if pulled from the air.
Well, that canât be imagined, can it?
Saizo wanted to laugh at how ridiculous this all seemed, but it was hard to do so knowing the implications of Teorusâ words.
âIf you stop using your power on me, Iâll die.â It wasnât a question, but Teorus nodded anyway.
âPretty much. Ichthys is also helping by using his healing powers. We canât interfere with life and death. Heâs only easing the pain so you can walk around. Once we finish granting your wish, though, weâll have to send you back to your time and let your fate take its course. Iâm sorry.â
âMy wish wasnât for you to save me, now was it?â Saizo asked coolly. âIâll get to eat the little ladyâs dango again, right? Iâll go happy if I get that much,â he smiled sad, self-deprecating smile. Teorus stared for a moment.
Goldfish donât live long, Teorus thought to himself, âThey ask for the strangest things, this goldfish is no different. So why does his wish and his smile make my heart hurt?
Saizo interrupted the godâs thoughts. âSo where is the little lady, hm? Take me to her so I can get my wish granted.â
Teorus smiled a genuine smile. âThe sooner the better, I guess? Alright, letâs go.â
For a brief moment, Saizo felt like his body was suspended in air, but the moment ended with his feet firmly planted on a sidewalk. He hardly noticed his surroundings because in front him, there stood a building with large windows, the inside decorated with polished wood and classic Japanese art, vases full of spring flowers sitting on simple, but comfortable tables. Even all of this was of no consequence to him because all Saizo could see was a woman with long black hair tied at the nape of her neck. Her eyes were as round as the perfectly shaped dango she set before a customer. Her skin looked as soft and warm as the last time he held her in his arms. Her smile was as warm and inviting as the last time he had ever made it home to hear that sweet voice.

I have family that lives there and the conditions are horrible. The help they desperately need is slowly trickling in when it should be pouring, but for some reason, simply because we are island people, and a commonwealth to boot, we are not seen as worthy of the governmentâs help in the same way that other hurricane victims are and thatâs truly heartbreaking. Instead, Iâve seen people mocking, criticizing, protesting giving aid to Puerto Rico (Their reasons made out of ignorance instead of learning about us and our history with the US). Weâre Americans; weâre HUMAN BEINGS. Are we not just as deserving of kindness as everyone else? Please help Puerto Rico. They need supplies (clothes, formula, food, water, medical supplies). Even donating a dollar would make a world of difference. I just ask that you show the same kindness that you would want shown to you in a time of crisis. Put aside politics for a moment and think about the elderly, the children, the women, and men who are suffering. Helping people shouldnât be a political decision. It should be a human one.
I apologize for the wait, though Iâm sure there werenât many actually waiting, but still! Iâve been sick for a week and I fell behind in my classes. Luckily my professors helped me catch up so I decided to use my extra time to write part 2! I hope you enjoy! Thank you!Â
Iâm crediting @mewtwo24 for the story since her head cannon is what inspired me to write this 3-chunk short story. You can find the original post here.Â
For the first part click here.
Jihyun slowly opens his eyes to the morning light shining softly through the baby blue curtains. Gradually, last nightâs events trickle back into his sleep leaden mind and he smiles to himself. Chin-sunâs words had left a warm feeling in his chest that, even now, had yet to dissipate.
He remembered the moments after her words when, overcome with joy and passion, he pressed his lips to hers in a kiss that left them both gasping for air. From there Jihyun slid his hands down her body, taking in every curve and indentation, gripping her waist only to pull her body closer to his until there was no space between them. He recalled how Chin-sun, in her excitement, had wrapped her legs around him and sweetly, softly whispered his name. He couldnât quite remember what happened after that, only snippets of his loss of self-control flitted through his memoriesâhim nipping at her lips and longing to hear her voice call his name just one more time, each and every time.
Jihyun could feel the blush creep up his cheeks as he remembered.
I canât believe I did all that. Even after three years together he still couldnât seem to keep a cool head around her. Everything she says, everything sheâs done, Chin-sun has done out of selflessness. She always has a smile at the ready and a comforting word to caress his heart. And right now, Jihyun felt the urge to hold her in his arms and whisper sweet nothings, but when he reached an arm out he was met with cold, unfeeling sheets. Fully awake now, he opened his eyes and saw that Chin-sun had already gotten up.
Where did she go? He wondered to himself. Just as he thought that, Jihyun could faintly hear water running and Chin-sunâs voice softly belting out a song. He chuckled softly to himself.
I wonder what song it is this time? Jihyun quickly got out of bed and dressed. He nearly left the room, but stopped just shy of the doorway to look back at the unkempt bed. Jihyun had never been one to make the bed or clean up after himself, after all the maids had always done it for him, but after living together with Chin-sun he noticed something. Chin-sun usually rose earlier than him, but even so she would still make sure to fix the bed after he got out of it. She never complained, in fact one time he told her he would make the bed that day (out of guilt) only for her to smile and say, âItâs no problem. I enjoy cleaning. This is just a habit anyway. I canât stand an unmade bed.â She had laughed lightheartedly, but Jihyun had made a promise to himself that day: if he got out of bed last, he would fix it as carefully as she did. Now he did just that, folding the corners crisply and tucking in the sides.
He nodded to himself after inspecting the bed and left the room. As he walked down the hall, Jihyun could hear Chin-sunâs voice growing louder with each step. Once in front of the bathroom door he stood silently and listened.
âThe universe has moved for us,â she sings, sounding like wind chimes in summer. âWithout missing a single thing, because our happiness has been planned, cause you love meââ
âAnd I love you,â Jihyun finishes in a voice made of silk. He hears something fall.
âChin-sun,â he asks worriedly, âAre you alright?â I hope she didnât fall. He considers bursting into the bathroom right then and there, but Chin-sunâs reply is swift and awkward.
âJihyun?â She asks, sounding flustered. âHow long have you been there?â
He laughed. âOnly a moment.â He paused, thoughtful. âAnother BTS song, I think, right?â He knows Saeyoung had introduced Chin-sun to the groupâs music and she had taken to it like a fish to water. She sang their songs more often than not, but he didnât mind. As long as he could hear her voice he was happy.
âHaha, yeah, it is,â Chin-sun giggledâhe adored her giggle. âIâll be out in a minute.â
âTake your time. Iâll start on breakfast.â
âSure, sounds good.â
In the kitchen, Jihyun prepares their meal. As the food sizzles in the frying pan, he glances nervously down the hallway. Once he is sure Chin-sun is still in the bathroom, he runs across the hall to his studio. Quickly, he jogs back and stands nonchalantly in front of the stove as Chin-sun exits the bathroom and makes her way towards him.
âHere you go,â he says and sets the food out on the table.
âThank you,â She replies and kisses his cheek. A slight blush creeps up his cheeks as he smiles down at her.
âI was thinking, âJihyun started casually, âof going out today.â He glances shyly at her. âWe could see a movie, go shopping, maybe go for a walk in the park.â He trails off nervously and looks up to see the woman of his dreams grinning from ear to ear.
âJihyun, are you asking me on a date?â She looks ready to leap out of her chair and Jihyun canât help but laugh.
âYes, I am. Can I take that as a âyes?ââ Chin-sun nodded eagerly. All the while, she was unaware of how Jihyunâs heart raced like a horse at the tracks, his hand gently touching the object in his jean pocket, reassuring himself that it is still there, waiting to be presented.

Warning: A slight spoiler to SITSâs substory âThe Last Concertâ and MCâs Death. *** Most SCM fans probably know whatâs shooting star symbolized in the appâŚso I thought itâs a fitting title for this :)
Note: @iamanocean-iamthesea Iâm sorry, I feel like this might not what you have in mind⌠D: but itâs something that came to my mind when I read your suggestion. I hope you will still enjoy it!
This is officially my first fanfic ever written! (I wrote the SLBP story after this one) Itâs a MysMes story based on a head cannon by @mewtwo24. You can find the original post here. I decided to make a three part story because the original is too long. There arenât enough V stories in the tags and I decided it was high time V got some much needed love. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Thank you!
P.S. All of my MCs from each otome game have different names. Iâm weird that way.
P.S.S. There might be slight spoilers since this takes place after the Good Ending on Vâs Route. So proceed at your own risk.
Sun filters in through the windows as the brush slides across the canvas. Jihyun softly hums to himself as he gazes intently at his work, unfinished, but unwaveringly beautiful in its vibrant colors. Its creator, though, feels uncertain, setting the brush aside, letting out a sigh.
Somethingâs missing, Jihyun thought to himself. His mint green eyes flickered with confusion and frustration. Thoughts flitted to and fro trying to come up with a solution that would make this piece, not perfectâno, not perfect, never againâbut captivating. He wanted it to look just as he viewed his inspiration for the work in real life.
âBut nothingâs working,â he said aloud to an empty room.
âWhatâs not working?â
Well, he thought it was empty. Jihyun turned towards the voice that reminded him of streams in the summer. Her expression was just as warm as the sun and gentle, refreshing, and desperately needed like that flowing water. He could feel the tension in him ease and be replaced by what he could only describe as love.
âChin-sun,â he said, a smile naturally forming on his lips as her name passed through. He stared just a bit longer, watching as she patiently waited for him to gather his thoughts. He loved that about her. She always waited, never rushing him, letting him go at his own pace. Chin-sun had waited two years for him as he travelled across the world as he worked on discovering himselfâloving himself. It hadnât been easy. There were days he would sink into a dark place only to remember the faces of those who believed in himâJumin, Saeyoung, Hyun, Jaehee, YoosungâŚand her. All Jihyun had to do was think of her encouraging words and sweet smile and he could find it in himself to keep pushing forward. He kept going forward until he finally came back to her.
Itâs been three years since he asked Chin-sun to go out with him and while he feels some guilt for making her wait so long, he feels far more gratitude and affection knowing it was worth the waitâthey were together, but they didnât need each other. They wanted to bask in one anotherâs light, neither tried to snuff out the other. They were happy. Jihyun couldnât help, but feel giddy at the thought.
This is what I want to express. These emotions and thoughts are what I need to make this painting work.
âJihyun?â Chin-sun asked softly. Jihyun jumped slightly, coming back to himself. He had been so lost in thought he had forgotten to reply to her. He was still looking at her, but he glanced away quickly, trying to hide the soft blush on his cheeks. In that moment, Jihyun was grateful Chin-sun was not psychic. He finally looked back up to see her standing closer now. She looked a bit worried now.
âItâs nothing,â he replied, reassuringly. The look she gave him was skeptical. âReally,â he insisted, âI was having trouble with the painting, but seeing your face helped me to realize what it has been missing.â
Chin-sunâs eyes widened slightly, but her face soon relaxed into her signature soft smile. âIâm not sure how seeing me helps, but if it did Iâm so glad I got to help you.â
Jihyun acted before his brain could put on the brakes. Before either of them realized it, Jihyunâs lips met Chin-sunâs in a gentle, feather-light kiss. When he came back to himself, Jihyun pulled away, flustered.
âChin-sun, Iâm sorry, I wasnât tryingâ,â he was cut off as his lover gently held his cheeks and pulled him closer. Her eyes smiled into his and then slowly shut as she pressed her lips against his, this time with more pressure. Jihyun grasped at her hair and pulled her closer against his body. He loved how as he sat in his artist chair, Chin-sun could lean over him with her hair cascading down either side like a curtain, hiding the two from the rest of the world. He could feel a fire burning in him as they kissed and soon he found himself out of the chair and pushing Chin-sun into the wall behind her. They continued like that until they were struggling for breath and, at last pulled apart. Both of them breathed heavily, very little space between them. Chin-sun looked up at him and smiled. He was losing his mind with that smile.
âCome on,â she said, grasping his hand and leading the both of them into their bedroom through the now dark corridors.
When did it become night, Jihyun thought somewhere in the back of his mind, but it was drowned out quickly enough as Chin-sun laid him on the firm mattress amidst the soft sheets. She leaned over him, staring at him in wonder.
âWhat do you see when you look at me,â Jihyun whispered softly. He wasnât really expecting and answer, but he was truly curious as he had never asked her before. âWhy did you fall in love with me even, though at the time all I could see was my own worthlessness?â
Chin-sun stayed silent for a moment, seeming to think carefully before she answered.
âWhile you werenât able to see past the flaws and mistakes,â she began slowly, âI was able to look into all the good in you.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âI saw a man who put others before himself always, even if it wasnât in his best interest. I saw man who had fears because there was something he aspired to be, but needed a little push to start towards that dream. I saw a man who wanted to love and be loved in return. I saw your soul, Jihyun.â She put her forehead against Jihyunâs. âI saw a person who heart was so big and pure that he more deeply than any other and I knew that if that was true then the opposite must be just as true. I fell in love with you, but even if you hadnât picked me to share your happiness, I wanted you to have that happiness nonetheless.â
Jihyun gripped Chin-sun tightly and pulled her underneath him, keeping his forehead pressed against hers. He could feel the tears trickle down his faceâhappy tears.
âIâm so glad I shared my happiness with you.â
