This is Heartshine!! She’s 10 years old, and is the main character of a show named The Girl Dressed in Pink!
Yes I know it’s an odd name, but I’m rushing this so I can feel more accomplished. The show is centered around Heartshine and how she became a magical girl, and what she does as one!
I’m not going to make this an actual show, because my lazy ass can’t animate, but I CAN show you what I’m trying to think!
The first season, consisting of around 20 episodes, starts off with her getting ready for the first day of fourth grade. At least i think ten year olds go into fourth grade. Or fifth. Doesn’t matter. She’s feeling good, but the nervousness is starting to take a toll on her. She’s never experienced this before (or remembered any of it happening). New classes, new friends.. it’s scary. She lives home alone, don’t ask how she manages, it’s cartoon logic. When she starts to walk to her school, she realizes she forgot her bag, so she rushes back to get it, but runs face first into some random guy. A grown man in a vest. He looks down at her, and opens his vest. Throws a weird gem at her, and runs. Before she could even process what was happening, her entire world seemed to fall apart. She saw it crumble, feeling as if she was falling in some kind of endless pink void. Then she blinks. And she’s back to the sidewalk. She rushes to grab her bag, and sprints to the school. She can’t get inside, and the teachers won’t let her in. She sat outside until the day ended, cold and lonely. When the bell rang, a ton of kids her age ran out. She didn’t recognize a single one. They didn’t recognize her either, so that’s great. She waited for them all to pass, and just walked home. Alone.
Yeah, that’s the whole first episode explained. I’m not actually gonna make this, like I said before, but I CAN just summarize each episode. Not like I did the first episode, but just like this.
Episodes 2-5 document her school life, showing her classmates and how she perceives them. During class, she keeps hallucinating that those same kids are monsters trying to hurt her, and it messes up her brain.
Episodes 6-10 show her meeting her future best friend, Spearmint! (Which we will explain later..)
They bond together, which is absolutely great, and these episodes just are like filler. Okay. They do fun kid things yeah ok!
Episodes 11-14 show the whole gem thing, and Heartshine eventually finds out she’s a magical girl now. Spearmint is one too, and she got a gem from that same guy a year ago, a few months after she first turned 10 years old. She’s 11 now.
The rest of season one shows them getting used to all this, fighting witches and monsters.
Season two and three are when they meet the others and the villain, which I will each explain soon. I’m not gonna explain those episodes either, or summarize them, because I’m tired and lazy.
The show is a whole thing representing how even when you’re young, you’re important. Your actions matter, and they build you. The show’s characters are each a different kind of design stereotype/style, and Heartshine’s is supposed to be Mary sue. I don’t think I did it very well, but she’s the magical girl with the most detail in her design. That’s because she’s the main character. Yeah!
The show is fictional, yes, but I’ve also made a fictional fan of it, which some of you may already know.. but she’s the last one I’ll dive into. So if you already know her, then you know her! Yay! And if you don’t? Well stay tuned!
I originally posted this in a discord server I’m in, but I thought that everyone should see my sick ass oc. Yeah. Anyways I’ll try my best to get the rest of them posted by Friday so that I can have an excuse to start making posts of interactions between them.
