Doctor Jo on YouTube is a physical therapist who offers lots of therapeutic stretching and exercise videos for specific conditions and pain relief. [x]

Leap Services is a Canadian physical therapy group that has a YouTube playlist of gentle exercise routines. All of these exercises are done in a chair (except for one which is done on the floor) and are intentionally adaptable to different bodies and needs. [x]

Yoga with Zelinda on YouTube has yoga that's adapted to a large number of conditions, for instance, providing a playlist of routines that don't require kneeling and another of chair yoga. She also offers yoga for specific health challenges, like fibromyalgia and mobility issues. There's a playlist of yoga routines for people with bigger bodies as well. [x]

Santosha Spirit on YouTube has yoga routines for people with chronic fatigue, chronic pain, POTS, and EDS. [x]

Yoga with Shaunneka on YouTube has a playlist of slow seated yoga, including chair yoga, as well as a playlist of gentle yoga. [x]

Qinergy on YouTube has tai chi sets broken down into easy tutorials. There is a seated version of her shibashi set. [x]

Perth Tai Chi Academy on YouTube is similar to Qinergy. It provides a seated version of daoyin yangshen qigong. [x]

It’s a biological fact that fish do indeed change their sex to keep the male/female ratio balanced in their school population. So this fluidity actually makes more sense from a scientific standpoint than the silly idea that merfolk are born with a strictly assigned sex like humans.

also worth noting, prior to the fifth blight, even the shortest blights lasted for well over a decade, and over 400 years had passed between the end of the fourth blight and start of the fifth. absolutely nobody was prepared for this, and NOBODY was expecting the player character to knock the thing out in like an afternoon lmao. EVERYONE assumed ferelden was toast. that's just what happens when the blight starts in your country. you all die and then eventually the rest of the world gets its shit together and finishes the thing. fighting and dying in ferelden was the ballsy "well we have to try, don't we?" bet that never accomplishes anything except to buy everywhere else more time to prepare.

it would have been a sincere relief, when the fifth blight started, that it began off in a far corner of the continent, where its spread would be limited, and not right in the middle, again. that's great news! not for ferelden, certainly, but ferelden was 30 years removed from its war for independence, and immediately fell to fighting a civil war within its borders at the very first moment of conflict. I cannot emphasize enough the degree to which it was completely, immediately written off as a loss the moment the blight started.

#my personal hc is it's a public secret among the wardens that weisshaupt resents the Warden for ending the fifth blight because of this #if the fifth blight hadn't been nigh single-handedly ended in nowheresland within a year of starting... #they would've had a better chance of reminding everyone that it's *vital* to keep a company of wardens in every country (via @thedascharlatan)

man like IMAGINE. you're the first warden. there hasn't been a blight in four centuries, but it's only a matter of time. the grey wardens have been banned from ferelden for literally half that time and more countries are liable to follow suit the more time passes. your job is already so hard and then out of nowhere some handful of nobodies end this blight basically before it even starts AND they install themselves into political offices in the process AND they have the gall to survive the whole ordeal, somehow!! I'd be asking myself what the FUCK their game was. I'd resent and mistrust them immensely. I'd be waiting for the other shoe to drop.

#it’s a good limitus test. take out the specifics of drinking or not drinking alcohol vs owning a dog or not #it’s basically 1) would you spend an evening laughing and enjoying conversation with someone and walking away like ‘that was good.’ #and 2) do you trust this person has a basic level of willingness and ability to care for others and repay your trusting in them? #it’s just getting you to tap into the unconscious micro-tells our brains collect about other people #which are by far the most accurate assessment tools we have to judge peoples’ characters on the fly and in general (via purplehawke)
