“I want you to the point of pain, Blue”
my happy ending™
I need a new show to watch! I want something with a long intensive burn between 2 characters that hate each other until they don't anymore 🙈 is that so hard?!?!?!
The 100 finale could've avoided being a shit show SO EASILY.
Picture this. Bellamy gets shot by Clarke but survives and we get a shot of him in a coma on Bardo. Simple enough, doesn't affect the plot overmuch. After everyone transcends and Clarke is walking around, we get another shot of a hospital room where previously a comatose Bellamy had lain. Now there is a gold tree person. Moving on to the end. Same thing. Clarke walks the beach with Lexa, realizes everyone came back for her, joyous reunion, everybody's hugging. But wait, no Bellamy? We see Clarke's face fall but settle in a sad but determined expression. She can't blame him, she shot him after all. Rustle from the trees off camera. Clarke turns and Bellamy comes out with some sticks under his arm or something, idk. Clarke's face breaks into a smile bright as the sun while she is still being hugged by everyone. Bellamy smiles back and mouths, "Together." Clarke nods and mouths back, "Together."
See???? That wasn't so hard now was it?????
it’s sending me how s3 revolved around defeating ALIE so that they wouldn’t all be uploaded into an emotionless, painless utopia and then the show ends with them all accepting that they will transcend into “higher beings” with no pain and it’s supposed to be a good thing
Lol welp I hadn’t thought of it like that... Although part of it could be the natural/unnaturalness of it? Or how much they’ve been through now? Like ALIE was man made and the alien people are real?? Or maybe it’s just a plot hole lol.
Shouldn't humanity be judged on all we've done? Since the beginning? This one battle--cause come on, that's not a war, decided the fate of humanity? And light!Abby was ready to eradicate them because Shady fired the first shot?
And then, one speech from Octavia and everyone gets to transcend? They haven't actually made peace, it wasn't out of goodness of their hearts. They stopped fighting because they knew they were tested. It wasn't "best of humanity", it was opportunism.
And after all that, the Eligius prisoners, Wonkru and the disciples transcended but Clarke didn't.
Clarke, who gave herself over and over again, had to pay for her actions.
There are no word to say how pointless and lame that was. The fuck was that all about? What is that glorious message that Jason had been droning about since the dawn of time?
The fact Bellamy wasn’t there with them on the beach at the end like I am SICK he was RIGHT about EVERYTHING and spent his last days BEGGING people to be better and then got MURDERED by his BEST FRIEND and he didn’t get to transcend OR come back and live out his days with everyone else I HATE IT HERE
Happy Freedom from Jason Rothenberg Day!
But seriously - do you know how fucking good it could have been if Bellamy had been there and the last line of the show was Bellamy saying
“So what now, Princess?”
And Clarke responding:
“Whatever the hell we want.”
And then boom out on Radioactive
*Me after watching the finale, knowing how much of a clusterfuck this season was*
insp: Bellamy went into the light in 7x11 and never came out. Whatever beings existed in that cave: they took his form and our Bellamy is still suspended in the bridge. All this time he's been waiting for someone to start the final test... and find him.
It's about time, Princess. Together? Together.
Bellamy: when I found Clarke, it was like an angelic choir was sent down from heaven
Bellamy:
Bellamy: I found Murphy wandering outside Walmart at two in the morning
What if when Becca put the code in the final test started? Maybe the entire show has been the test? And when the code gets put in again that will end the test?
if bellamy was alive he wouldn't have let madi die
sorry not sorry
