I had to do some googling so now my search history is just “how much blood in human body” “how much blood in average child” “human adult stomach capacity” “gallon to ml conversion”

I think Snape would be disgusted with himself, he was that scared when Harry blanked out for a second … Even afterwards he’s afraid and unhappy, knowing that Harry just being close to him can make him that blood thirsty, almost thirsty enough to take way too much from Harry

I’m thinking about Petunia’s reaction to Severus the first time she meets him. The instant looking down on him…because of where he lives. Because at that age, those kinds of opinions aren’t formed. They’re learned. Which makes me wonder how Lily’s parents felt about him. How much they disapproved of him, just because of his social status. Which is again making me think about how we don’t know any adults in his life that were actually good to him when he was a child.

Like, we all know he's a petty bitch, they didn't have to say it like that. It's part of his charm.

Also that he wasn't a half-decent human being? Delusional behavior.

Calling a traumatized fictional character "not even half a decent human being", while true, is highly offensive, deeply harmful and rather stigmatizing towards people who suffer from the same mental health conditions as he did.

Was the guy a total jerk? Sure.

However, attacking Snape's core humanity links his mental health struggles with his value as a person. The guy was going through some shit and never got the help and support he needed.

Yes, yes, mental health isn't an excuse to be an asshole to others, but I personally find it kinda rude to call a fictional character's humanity into question just because you don't like their attitude.

Genuinely acting like he's the worst and had no redeemable qualities smh.
