WHAT
This is a stupid conversation! and I'm not going to continue it! literally so fucking correct
What I’m really proud of is the fact that he made SURE the audience understood why the caller was being an idiot. He made a PERFECT comparison, gave the caller an honest chance to re-evaluate and change his mind. His point landed, everyone knew it, even the caller (note his pause and almost hesitancy after being asked).
But when the caller decided to bulldoze on anyway, because god forbid actually listen to the other person in the conversation, the expert cut him off and refused his time. And good for him.
[VD: A tweet by @ g33kgurli, tweeted at 9:47 PM on Dec 17, 2021. It reads, "Perhaps the best clap back to antivaxxers and antimaskers." Attached is a video from The Thom Hartmann Program, where Hartmann is talking with a caller. The conversation goes as follows:
Caller: Hey Thom. Uh, I was listening to you for the last hour so, um, I heard survival of the fittest. Um, you know some of us choose not to vaccinate and uh--
Hartmann: You're nuts, Nicholas.
Caller: --because we work very hard about staying fit, eating healthy, and our natural immune system.
Hartmann: So Nicholas if you're so healthy, would you have unprotected sex with somebody who has syphilis or gonorrhea?
Caller: You're missing the point.
Hartmann: No, I'm not missing the point. They're contagious diseases. Would you have unprotected sex with somebody who has syphilis and gonorrhea and not worry about it because you're so healthy?
Caller: [pause] No, I wouldn't do that.
Hartmann: Okay, then why would you expose yourself to covid without having some protection?
Caller: Because the protection is my natural immunity.
Hartmann: No, it's not. Tell that--
Caller: Yes, yes, my natural immune system--
Hartmann: Tell that to eight hundred thousand dead Americans. Nicholas, this is- this is a stupid conversation and I'm not going to continue it.

Everyone who’s ever died of a disease had an immune system
"Kissing? 🤔 — I liked it 👎👎"
Another scene from @uon-uon 's Trial and Error. From chapter 12, the first time Grace kisses Simon.
oooookay, a bit of Simon’s lore here!
He was raised in a closed religious community in the middle of desert area (just a bit north from eridian habitat). This part of the world is known for its heat, lack of water, proper soil and resources. While eridians naturally adapted to this conditions, humans struggle to live there. But this also makes this area perfect for hiding for radical organisations not liked by their country (if any country at all), not only because of its condition, but also because of unending sandstorms that don’t allow anyone see literally anything farther than in a mile.
So, basically they lived in similar to eridian conditions in a desert with no plants and with single giant tree in a middle of main dome of the cult. Stars and sky are believed to not be expected anymore after some event of world’s end (AKA “quiet rapture”) and everything that left are this “chosen children of the tree”, and their only purpose is to feed it.
COI is also a community living there but more likely for research purposes or for mining, but eventually they radicalised too and began war with Eden for those limited resources.
kinda like this. Yes, Eden’s faith is a complete bullshit here stars are not even gone, but this way it’s even more interesting. Because uknow that “isn’t it more likely that couple of space ships disappeared? What if they are looking for us and thinking there we all went?” thing. Cults are powerful indeed.
poor Simon

Welcome to my Daniel calling Armand Daddy agenda
This comic only mentions different hallucinations based on sensory modality (which sense it impacts) but there are other ways to categorise hallucinations such as the theme of the hallucination or the severity of the hallucination
Hallucinations don’t only affect schizospec people and can happen to people without a psychotic disorder or any mental illness/condition
Siren!Simon has me in a chokehold…
;-;
*evil laugh *
Zuko’s concerned face when Aang’s letter says to come immediately vs 2 seconds later when Aang says to bring snacks
That man simultaneously endears and vexes him
I don't have much time but i think im going to finish this one
I think this situation could be in few months after rescue
Maybe after nightmare or smth so i have that kind of vibe
some bloodymary requests from insta: simon getting his hair washed, him wearing grace's clothes (and grace's reaction), grace in traditional krakowian clothing and simon in hanbok, grace and simon with rocky and adrian's pebbles, grace playing with simon's hair, grace wearing one of my own outfits, and grace reading to simon
I love Simon's hat, okay?
As for Grace, everyone tells whatever lie they see fit.
I feel like Grace has enough pictures of Simon to make a firefighter-style calendar and i really enjoyed painting this drawing.
Adorable
