Here's a big project I've been working on for a few weeks: a phylogenetic tree of everything in Minecraft! Sällsam (Alexbrine) Thoughts

I need to talk more about Sallsam, do you guys remember Sallsam (Aka Sällsam), my Alex version of Herobrine with the void eyes? I've been thinking about Sallsam again and I want them to be more popular... I've been thinking of their dynamic with Herobrine... equal opposite types of scary. They're both frightening forces, but in very different ways, and if they ever team up, You're Fucked. Also, the old old OLD ass Herobrine lore has to do with... the ghost of a certain developer's brother. I wanna rework that a little, and then for Sallsam... While Herobrine comes from a piece of the Real World captured within the game... Sallsam's origins are purely digital. Lost bits of abandoned code stitched together... and while Herobrine is content to roam the digital landscape as a god of sorts... Sallsam... wants OUT.

While Herobrine tends to get attention by showing up in singleplayer worlds, Sällsam lurks in Multiplayer worlds but never shows up on the player list if you look. Perhaps they show up most in seemingly inactive servers...

this build took about three hours of test-building and then an ungodly amount of time to build in game because i’d been procrastinating working on it! the interior is unfinished, but if I ever get around to building the town that’s supposed to go around it, it’ll finish that :)

Fight me if I'm wrong (and I'm not) but beacons decorated with multiple types of mineral blocks are the best and my sins are forgiven every time I see one

This one is one of my fav. A lil on the expensive side, but at least it's classy xD

Simple & more complex designs

The light beam of a beacon can go throught another beacon, so if you have two of them you can bury the actual mineral blocks and still make it seem like the beam is produced by the top one

And it's even better if you get creative with it and pair it with other blocks/stairs! You can also use the glass pane trick (putting a single glass pane right over the beacon to change the beam color without anything being visible)

Seriously. This shit rocks. Give some love to your beacons!! With how expensive they are you deserve to expose them to the world!! Make them a work of art!

All of these are fully powered, of course. And probably less expensive than the usual flex ones since you can put iron or emerald in the non visible parts.

Check out the base I made for the Minecraft story mode SMP! I'm so proud of it, I think this is the most effort I've put into a build in quite some time!!!
