I’m baffled by the amount of people who seem to take his words here literally. Did they not watch the whole interview? He is not talking to/about the people that are near and dear to him. He is talking to his fans. Probably in particular the ones who feel like they need to “protect” him and whose babying got too fucking far earlier this year. He’s basically telling them, in the friendliest way possible, to leave him to deal with anything negative on his own, and to not cause problems where there are none cuz he can fucking take care of himself. I certainly hope they got that message, too.
