Weird pattern I keep noticing in nonhuman spaces so I'd like to point this out. You can't wear collars, silicone tails, puphood/half muzzles & harnesses and be against kink/BDSM. Thats just not how it works.

You can wear all that stuff for non-sexual reasons, but you need to remember that that stuff belongs to the kink community, and you need to respect the origins and history of what you are wearing.

Show tails (non plug silicone tails) originated from the pet play/kink scene, for the love of god DO NOT WEAR ONE if you're going to hate on pet play.

and if you pull the "I'm a minor!" thing, then don't fucking wear something so heavily associated with kink culture!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but do not ever, ever, ever let someone guilt you into not transitioning. "But you're so pretty! You'll ruin your lovely body!" "But you're my [son/daughter/boyfriend/girlfriend/mom/dad/etc.]; I can't see you any other way!" "But we need more [badass butch lesbians/women in STEM/etc.] to show women that they can do anything!" "But we need good men like you to promote healthy masculinity!" <- None of these are reasons not to transition. Transition is for you, not for others. Other peoples' indignation or sadness over your transition is not your burden to bear, and other peoples' expectations for you are not moral obligations you must fulfill. Do not live to fit inside a prescribed role in somebody else's life. You must live for yourself. Please transition.

I refuse to actually spell the name out. In my opinion, mentioning it outside the context of traditional storytelling is begging for your life to go down hill.

It's not some fun silly monster found in the woods. It's an evil spirit of self-destruction and community destruction.

It's not a spooky skeleton. It's someone you love turning to alcoholism instead of their support system. Watching them destroy themselves and not knowing how to save them.

It's not a dark looming figure with a deer skull. It's a man being so obsessed with feeling powerless that he forces himself on multiple women. It's holding a girl as she cries because the police don't take her story seriously at all, so it's still happening!

Turning a very serious cultural lesson into silly goofs for Halloween or monster hunting is wrong. Then, making the goofy monster more well known than any of the actual stories from the actual people is even more wrong.

There's no reason not to just come up with a new name! The look isn't the same, the story isn't the same, the interaction with people isn't the same. So just call it something else! It's insane that so many people are resistant to just using a different word if it means helping to prevent talking over indigenous communities.

Don't even get me started on people that sexualize it. What they are sexualizing isn't really it, but the idea that they'd use the word to describe their sexual interest is so disturbing.

And it's kinda ironic because the desperate need white people have to continue to call this cryptic by this title is sort of a minor version of the extreme selfishness these stories warn about.

Hi guys I recently had a run in with a pedophile who was posting child pornography, please don’t call the police there’s not a whole lot they can do in situations of tracking unless it’s in your home state! And they don’t have a department that deals with blogs.

Instead call 1-800-843-5678 or fill out a form for cybertipline.com , they reach out within the same day and deal with these assholes all the time. They will contact you if they need more assistance or if they’ve resolved it! The police department redirected me to the hotline and will do so in every situation unless it’s local. Stay safe!
