synopsis: a place where 24 trainees will be out to the test to see who will debut in 2020. How will 18 year old Lana Song, compete against 23 other boys and 1 other girl striving towards the same goal?

The robotic voice echoes out again voicing out that they have two hours now left to make their final decisions on who to vote off. It meant now that everyone had to vote for 3 people to be eliminated. Lana felt her uneasiness come back. How on earth was she going to choose 3 people to eliminate? she hated this.
Lana finds herself following behind Heesung and tagging along with him. The group of trainees walked around i-land, getting to know their environment. When Lana was in the kitchen she says to Heesung "I know this is gonna be the place where I'll be the most", which makes him laugh.
And then their pictures popped up and Lana had to stop herself from making a disgusted face when seeing her photo, but you can tell from her cringed expression what she was thinking exactly.
There was only space for 13 contestants. There was 13 cups. 13 chairs. 13 pair of utensils. 13 pairs of shirts, pants, shoes, and accessories.
Lana mentally made a promise to herself that she had to maintain her spot every single round. The trainees then sat down in the living room, talking about what they have been thrown in. Lana was seen sitting in between Heesung and Niki.
"Since our ultimate goal is make the best team, we should vote for the 1 members that fit the ideal image of the group when we each think about it objectively, don't you think?" Seon mentions to everyone. Who the hell made him the leader? Lana looks around the room trying to see everyone else's expressions to see if they felt the same way about how Seon as well. The camera very much catches Lana's annoyed expression and the way she was side eyeing Seon.
Lana wasn't exactly sure why she didn't like Seon, but usually she was always right about her gut instincts, so she knew that she wasn't going to bother in getting to know the guy, plus she thought his performance was beyond average, nothing special.
"When choosing who to vote out, I'm looking at their performances from what I saw today" Lana says to the camera and then when she was asked about who fits her standards to be in a group with her, she says "Heesung. Jay and Sunghoon also caught my attention, but that's probably because they sung an NCT song"
When Jay was asked who he wanted to be in his group "Lana has a really cool aura about her. She's always been like that"
Heesung also mentioned that he wanted to be in a group with Lana
K mentions to the camera "although I think Lana is very talented and so is Nari, I think I'll be voting them off cause I'm not sure how I feel about debuting in a co-ed group"
After the clips of the members expressing their desires on who they wanted to be on a team with, it showed Seon leading Heesung to where the coffee machine was. Lana at the time was grabbing juice from the fridge and overheard snippets of their conversation.
"I really want to be on the same team as you" she hears Seon saying to Heesung and Lana really couldn't help but roll her eyes at him
Lana watches as Seon walked around the room, talking to the younger contestants saying the same and trying to ease his way to their good graces. She really didn't like how much of a stuck up he was to everyone. And she also couldn't help but wonder why he didn't even bother trying to stuck up to her sexist piece of shit
Lana decides to head towards Jay and Sunghoon and gestures to them "you two better not vote me off, I'm watching you" and then walks off. Jay and Sunghoon exchange a look with each other
"was she threatening us?" Jay asks Sunghoon laughing "yah, Lana come back here!"
"what do you want?" Lana asks side eyeing Jay
"why would we vote you off?" Jay asks her
She keeps side eyeing him "cause you didn't vote for Nari for the entry test"
This confuses Jay "So? what's that got to do with you? I literally voted for you"
"You did?" Lana chirps but then goes back to squinting angrily at him "but you didn't vote for Nari, we're kind of a package"
Jay found this amusing "Oh really now? did you vote for both Sunghoon and I?"
"Yeah obviously I did, who do you think I am?" Lana asks offended by Jay's question and this seemed to satisfy Jay
"Speaking of Nari though, I don't think she likes me" Sunghoon now says and Lana raises her eyebrows at this
"That's cause you called her Nabi" Jay points out and Lana covers her mouth to stop herself from laughing
"No wonder why she doesn't like you, that kind of stuff really gets to her" Lana says to him
"I didn't do it on purpose, I'm really bad with names!" Sunghoon defends
"she'll get over it eventually, don't worry" Lana tells him patting his arm dramatically
"You said you and Nari are a package but I've rarely seen you two together since we've gone up here" Jay now says and now Lana was back to glaring at him
"And what's it to you stalker?" Lana asks and Sunghoon can't help but laugh at this
"Just pointing it out" Jay shrugs
"It's none of your concern, you didn't vote for her anyway" Lana says disapprovingly to him
"We will now begin the voting that will determine the 12-ilanders who will stay. Niki, please head to the decision room" the robotic voice says now
"Oh, so that's how we are doing it? okay" Lana says to no one in particular and then asks Jay and Sunghoon "Who are you guys voting off?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Jay teases
"Um yeah I would? that's why I literally asked? ugh you're so annoying" Lana then says storming off giving Jay another glare and making sure he saw. Jay just watches her in amusement, tilting his head but Sunghoon was even more amused
"Ahhh you two are funny" Sunghoon says happily shaking his head
"Why doesn't she like me?" Jay questions quietly
"I don't think it's that" Sunghoon responds with a small smirk on his face
Lana felt so scared as she made her way to the decision room. Lana hated every second of when she was contemplating who to vote off but she knew it was something that had to be done. In the end she voted off Seon, Sungchul, Taki and Youngbin
"I'm so sorry" she apologies under her breath as finalised her votes
"I was so scared when doing this. In the back of my head I know there was a chance that I could get voted off but I also wasn't a fan of voting others off" Lana says to the camera.
The next scene then shows Nari voting Lana off.
When the eliminated participants were being revealed, Nari didnt have the heart to watch. Lana keeps her head looking down onto the ground
"Kim Sunoo" gets announced to be voted off and Lana's head snaps up in confusion. The screen shows that 10 people voted him off and Lana looks around the room in shock. Why would they vote him off? he was so good?
"Taki" Lana couldn't help but notice the way Taki and Niki were looking at each other when that announced. What was going on there?
"Lee Nari" now Lana and Nari made eye contact. Lana felt herself go cold from the way Nari was looking at her. Did she think I voted her off? I would never do that
Youngbin and Sungchul also get voted off afterwards.
"Those who have been eliminated, please move to the GROUND now "
Lana felt herself heart shrink. Although she didn't get eliminated she still felt guilty, she voted for three of those boys to be eliminated. And she couldn't help but feel bad for Nari even though she didn't vote her off.
She watched as Sunoo left the place with a smile on his face and she couldn't help but pout at this. She couldn't wait until he came back so that she could become closer with him. Why the fuck was Seon not voted off? why were these guys so blind?
"Let's work hard! 1,2,3! I-LAND!" the 13 of them shouted after the ones voted off went to the GROUND.
It was now time to choose roommates. Lana wanted to be in the same room as Heesung and saw that Sunghoon was also going to be in that room but then saw that Seon was also in that room so she knew that was a no. She didn't really know K or Youngbin that well despite liking Jake. She ended up deciding to go into the room with Jay, Daniel and Niki because Daniel reminded her of her younger brother, she liked Jay well enough, and plus she wanted to get to know Niki more.
For the remainder Lana is seen in the practice room with the rest of the contestants watching Sunghoon show off his figure skating skills.
"Sunghoon you need to take me ice skating so you can teach me how to spin, watch" Lana says to him excitedly and then showing Sunghoon imitating how she will spin. He laughed at the girl who was quickly becoming his friend.

Everyone's performances were done and now the spots were filled. A -4 showed on the screen. The only contestants Lana voted for in the end were Nari, Jay, Sunghoon, Heesung, K, Daniel, Jungwon, Jake, Sunoo, Niki and Nicholas.
The 18 contestants that were voted to stay got to go through the rotting structure and into i-land, while the others who didnt get enough votes were sent somewhere unknown to Lana at the time.
Lana tried her best to feel the nagging feeling in her chest, feeling horrible for all the people she didn't vote for and those who didn't get enough votes. She knew this was survival show, but it didn't mean that she had to like it.
Heesung must've noticed her uneasiness by the way she was anxiously biting her lip and furrowing her eyebrows. He pats her pack in a comforting manner and says "it's going to be okay"
Nari who was besides Lana side eyes this interaction and doesn't say a word. Great, Lana thought. She's going to think there's something going on between Heesung and I when we're just friends...
The sliding doors opened and Nari wasn't able to hide her excitement, the uneasiness fading away from her face. Her eyes lit up, a moment that was captured on camera that viewers fall in love with her expression.
After all the contestants stepped out of the giant egg, they put their bags down and walked around the lobby.
"wow!"
"what's happening?"
Lana noticing how quiet Nari was being asks, "is everything alright?"
"yeah why wouldn't it be?" Nari asks back with a forced smile.
Lana sighs internally knowing it was probably best not to push on it and to just leave Nari alone for the time meaning.
Then out of nowhere the robotic voice returned and explained what they'd now be doing. Lana thought that now would be a great time to become friendly with the other contestants and that she shouldn't just stick with Nari. Lana had a feeling the more friends she made in this place, the safer it will be for her overall.
Lana decides to make her way towards where Sunoo, Jake and Youngbin where
"Hey! I loved your performance, it was so good" Lana says smiling at the boys
"Thank you! you were so cool by the way on the stage" Sunoo says matching her energy
"This is going to sound so random, but are you Australian by any chance? I just noticed when you were singing that I could hear an accent" Jake then asks her and Lana nods happily as a response
Jake then gets all excited "wait really? I'm Australian too!'
Lana squeals happily grabbing a hold of his arm out of excitement making some of the boys turn their heads towards them, including Jay "oh my god, that's so crazy! what part are you from?"
"I'm from Brisbane" He replies in English with equal amount of excitement "what about you?"
"From Melbourne" she tells him and he smiles brightly at her
Sunoo laughs at their interaction finding them entertaining and says over to Youngbin "I have a feeling these two are gonna become really close"
"We already are" Jake jokes and Lana nods back
"we have to stick together now" Lana says holding out her pinky fineger and he takes his out which Sunoo laughs more at
"are all Australians like this?" Youngbin questions whilst laughing
"we have to be, there's only 2 of us" Jake states laughing along
"you seem very invested in their conversation" Sunghoon points out to Jay who was watching the interaction between Lana and Jake
"huh?...oh what no I'm not!" Jay defends, acting like he wasnt looking over them at all which made Sunghoon even more amused
"Should we go up to her?" Sunghoon then asks knowing that Jay seemed like he wanted some sort of excuse to talk to her
Jay shakes his head "nah, that would be weird"
Sunghoon tilts his head not agreeing "why? we already know her"
And then Nari approaches the two boys and smiles at them greeting them "hey... you guys do remember who I am right"
Sunghoon awkwardly laughs "yeah of course...you're a trainee with us... Nabi right?"
Nari tries to hide her annoyed expression when Sunghoon got her name wrong, but it was pretty obvious and tries to cover it with a laugh "It's Nari"
Jay closes his eyes out of embarrassment wanting ton be away from this conversation "sorry, he's really bad at remembering names"
Nari nods her head trying to hide her disappointment and then looks over at where Lana was and points over to her "do you remember hers?"
Sunghoon looks over at where Lana was and says, "yeah of course, that's Lana, right?"
Nari nods her head with a plain expression, meanwhile Jay wanted to facepalm himself. But he also didn't like that Nari did that.
Throughout the rest of the episode you can see Lana either eating and hanging out with Jake, who were talking about their childhood and their life back in Australia.

The producers watched the screen as two teenage girls came onto their screen.
"ah so these are the two secret contestants? two girls?" Zico mentions looking at Bang Si-Hyuk
"I'm very excited for these two girls! this one is Song Lana, she's 18 years old and from Australia" Bang says and the screen cuts to show Lana walking down with a warm smile plastered on her face "The other girl is Lee Nari, she's 17. They've both been trainees with BigHit since 2017. Both very talented girls" Bang Si-Hyuk mentions to the others
Lana and Nari walked down together through the narrow path and there was a moment where Lana almost tripped catching onto Nari who was laughing at the girl as she was clutching her chest as if she almost went through a near death experience "wah, how the heck did I almost trip on thin air"
The producers laughed at Lana's failed clumsiness falling for the young girl's charm.
"So how come you decided for those two girls to enter the show with 22 other boys? how will that be working out?" Rain now asks, curiosity getting the better of him
"if I'm being honest I thought it might add a bit of fun and a bit of a twist to see how they might work along with each other and if it works out well then we might have one or both of the girls ending up debuting as a end result. I think it'll be interesting either way" Bang explains
Lana felt her nerves right up as they made their way towards the door "this door is huge!" Nari comments
"Surely they could have found a smaller door, this is a bit excessive, don't you think?" Lana comments on it pushing the door with all her might as Nari watched the older girl with amusement. If you didn't know their ages you would have thought Lana was the younger one
"yeah I don't think the door will open like that unnie" Nari says laughing and then the door automatically opens
"I'm basically a magician!" Lana celebrates and the two girls enter "here goes nothing"
Lana tried calming down her nerves and straightened her outfit. Both the girls were informed that they will be entering this show with 22 other boys and she was unsure how the boys would react to it.
The boys were all casually talking to each other waiting for the last two competitors to walk through the tunnel. The others stopped talking as the unrevealed contestants slowly made their way to the tunnel.
She heard one of the boys make an exclamation sound and tried to hide her laugher with straightening her face into a poker face.
"Wait they're both girls?"
"I thought this was only for guys?"
Lana and Nari stood there for a moment before moving onto moving stage without realign it was going to move. Once it started moving Lana immediately clung onto Nari making a slight squealing sound making the boys laugh at her, finding her cute. Lana frowns, there goes her act in trying to remain cool as a first impression.
Lana and Nari walked off the platform to the left side and spotted their fellow BigHit trainees Heesung, Jay and Sunghoon.
"Oh look it's Heesung oppa" Nari says happily and Lana tried not to roll her eyes knowing that Nari had a bit of a crush on Heesung. They made their way towards the boys. Jay and Sunghoon nod their heads in recognition to the girls, Jay and Lana hold the contact longer than usual before breaking away, something unspoken passing through them. This doesn't go unnoticed by Nari. Although Lana has spoken to Jay and Sunghoon (more jay than Sunghoon) she wasn't entirely sure if they were friends, but Heesung she knew was a friend. Lana lets Nari sit next to Heesung. Heesung couldn't help but feel a little let down hoping that Lana would sit next to him
"you didn't tell me you were coming?" Heesung says looking at Lana, scooting over towards Jay so that the two girls had more room to sit.
Lana was about to say something back to him but Nari cuts her off "It was pretty last minute-"
A signal went off and a robotic voice came on informing the contestants that the final two had come in. The voice then explained the following activity โ the entry test โ every contestant, those who came long or those in a duo/trip had to show their pre-prepared performances. Then, the others could raise their hands. The number of hands raised would deter one if the contestants would be able to enter I-land or if they wouldn't.
"what if these guys don't vote for us because we're girls?" Nari whispers to Lana
Lana looks around the room at the boys "then we better put on one hell of a performance"
When Seon performed first. Lana does the same side eye as Sunoco which gets edited so that both their side eyes look over at each other.
When all the boys raised their hands for Seon to go through, Nari did as well when she noticed that Heesung also raised his hand. Lana looks over at the boys and Nari with disappointment. Still, she stood her ground and didn't vote. She wasn't going to vote simply because everyone else did.
"what, he wasn't so bad" Nari whispers to Lana and Lana simply gives her a side glance as an answer which Jay catches and he tries so hard not to laugh at.
After a few other performances. It was now time for Lana and Nari to perform. The music starts and fear by seventeen starts playing.
"woahhh I wasn't expecting them to perform to song a like this" Rain exclaims
The boys were no different. They were all cheering and clapping at their performance. Some of the boys watched with a plain face waiting for one of the girls to screw up, but that didn't happen. Lana kept the right key the whole time and was consistently stable while putting on a performance.
"They're both really good but Lana...Lana is more stable and keeping the performance together I have to say" Zico mentions and Bang nods his head
"Yes, I have noticed that Nari tends to get a bit nervous performing in front of others so that could be it. But I really hope this doesn't become a thing all the time"
Once they finished their performance, Lana gives Nari thumbs up while smiling at her partner brightly despite her nerves running high but didn't want that to be shown on her face. She took a few breaths to calm herself down while waiting for the guys to raise their hands... if they did.
"if you think Lana should advance and a earn a spot in I-land, please raise your hand to vote"
Lana closes her eyes
Heesung, Jay, Sunghoon, Jake, Sunoo, Jungwon and Niki all raised their hands for Lana along with most of the other boys except Saeon and K.
"Lana is in"
Lana let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she raises her head with a smile on her face and looks over at Nari who gives her a small nod. Jay notices this and feels himself become annoyed, shouldn't Nari feel more happy for Lana?
"And now, if you think Nari should advance and earn a spot in I-land, please raise your hand to vote"
Lana now watches as the boys voted and noticed that not a lot of them did, including Jay. Lana doesn't know why but she finds herself looking over at Jay at this and tilts her head. Did he also not vote for her? Lana tried snapping out of it, and didn't allow herself to care if he voted for her not, why should she? She voted for him! and just because he was incredibly sweet to her that one time when they were stuck in the elevator doesn't mean that she should care. No, she wasn't going to let Jay get to her.
"Lee Nari is in"
Lana squeals and goes over to run to the younger girl to engulf in her a hug "we did it, Nari we passed!"
"yeah for now" Nari chuckles
"oh, stop being so cynical just enjoy the now" Lana tells her warmly and they go back to their seats to watch the other remaining performances.

Yunjin (LE SSERAFIM)
The second these two met they both instantly knew that they were going to be each other's person. They instantly clicked and connected and haven't looked back since. Whenever they are together they do not shut up not even for a second. Are so loud and are always laughing and giggling about something. They are always having sleep over's at each other's place, but most of the time Lana goes to Le sserafim's dorms because she likes hanging out with the rest of the girls too and doesn't want to disturb the boys too much, although the guys don't mind they secretly love how happy Lana is when she's around Yunjin. They are always hanging out whenever they get the chance, whether that be having sleepovers, going to cute cafes, shopping, getting their nails done, going to a art gallery or some pop up, they are doing it together. They are also an iconic trio with Katseye's Sophia! and are always going on platonic double dates with Heesung and Boemgyu (cause they are all 01s duh). They are each other's photographer and are always posting each other on instagram. Call each other wife. They are both also really close with each other's younger sisters.
Lana is always forever grateful for her friendship with Yunjin and how close they are because no matter how much she loves her boys its nice to be around girls for a change and to have a friendship with them. They have known each other back since they were trainees together before Beomgyu debuted with TXT and have always been good friends and have only become closer over the years. Beomgyu was the first member of TXT she became close with and has always been the closest with him. Both are always matching each other's freak and are always sending each other's memes (most of the time it's memes of each other). Love watching reality dating shows and judging them together and obnoxiously singing off key to annoy the rest of their members togethers. Are always plotting something together for the fun of it. Both are always mentioning each other in interviews and always go viral whenever they do TikTok challenges with each other. They always greet each other whenever they see each other in public at awards shows, they don't care! are each other's biggest hype man and are always supporting each other no matter what. Iconic trio with Heesung and fans went crazy when they did a live together. Although Lana dated Yeonjun at one point, Beomgyu never treated her any differently after they broke up and always made it clear that his friendship with her was more important.
When a fan asked him who his enhypen bias was Beomgyu answered that it was Lana without hesitation. Lana went viral for having a Beomgyu pc at the back of her phone that she kept there for months and when a fan asked about it she shrugged and said that she just loves Beomgyu and this pc?? weirdly enough tho these two have never been romantically shipped?? fans just love their interactions because they are certified besties I know thats right.
Keeho (P1 HARMONY)
Fans have always been shocked that they've never seen these two interact and have always mentioned that they think they would be besties. A fan brought to up to Keeho during a fancall and asked Keeho if he was friends with Lana in which he replied that he wasn't and then the fan said what's stopping him and he was like omfggg okay girl bet?? not even 2 weeks later the two posted a TikTok challenge together and then were seen hanging out.
They definitely match each other's energy and humour. Keeho even tells her that he enjoys being around her because he can speak in English and because she gets his humour in a way that his members don't. They are always sending each other memes and chronically online references.
Wonyoung (IVE)
Lana met Wonyoung when Sunghoon and her were mc's for music bank and absolutely fell in love with her. Lana constantly loves to tease Sunghoon about Wonyoung and states that he is so blind and that if he doesn't make her his girlfriend then she will! these two are so touchy feely and clingy with each other that Sunghoon was actually confused if Lana was actually not joking and made Wonyoung her girlfriend?? they went viral one time during music bank when Wonyoung was checking Lana out and Lana noticed so she sent Wonyoung a wink. They always greet and hug each other whenever they see each other at awards show and have remained really close friends.
Danielle
The second Lana heard that Danielle was Australian she knew that she had to befriend the girl and of course naturally the two became close very quickly. Danielle very much sees Lana as her older sister who she knows she can lean on always. Lana is always very much spoiling Danielle and the rest of the new jeans girl as much as can get cause those are literally her baby sisters.
Jake was jealous of this friendship and wanted in as well, which eventually Lana allows. They have a group chat with other Australian idols such as Bangchan, Felix and Lily.
Sophia (KATSYEYE)
These two first met through Yunjin and became good friends very easily. Love to hang out whenever they get the chance and are in the same country, it's even better when it's with Yunjin as well. So many collaborated lives with each other and Yunjin. Sophia went viral one time for liking a ship edit of Lana x Jay on instagram but girliy still hasn't unliked it omfg. Sophia is pretty well known for being an engene and her bias in Jungwon so of course eventually Lana introduces to Sophia to Jungwon, to which then she freaks out about when she sees him and Jungwon is standing there like ๐๐งโโ๏ธ
These two loving going to the theatre and ballet with each other and very much act like sisters all the time.
Haechan (NCT)
The two met backstage at an awards show and just started yapping together naturally without really knowing each other?? and honestly that basically just sums up their friendship, they are always yapping about something. Lana doesn't even remember how they even started talking or how they even became friends but she has no regrets she loves listening to Haechan yap. Lana featured on a song on his solo album that fans went crazy over.
Seungkwan (SEVENTEEN)
Lana first properly met Seungkwan during HYBE X GAME CATERERS. I say that cause she's seen him around the HYBE building before and have greeted each other and she has also been to Seventeen's concerts a few times (she's a huge carat). Seungkwan immediately was taken with her and adored her. They had so many funny moments during HYBE X GAME CATERERS, and after that Seungkwan knew that he had to befriend this girl, which he did. He is always taking her out for dinner and always finds the time to chat with. Sometimes Soobin even joins them! all the seventeen members are rather very taken with her but she considers Seungkwan the ones she's mostly closest with. Lana and Jungwon are actually Seventeen's adopted kids.

Haechan thought they had good chemistry and that the two should get to know each other so naturally he gave a horrified Jeno her number. Not soon later the two went on a date and hit it off, he was such a gentlemen that it was hard for Lana not to fall for him. The two only dated for a few months, Lana did really care for him but couldn't find herself falling head over heels in love with him and felt guilty for stringing him along when he could be the best boyfriend to someone more worthy. It took her ages to finally break things off with him because she didn't have the heart to because he was such a nice guy. Although they weren't compatible romantically in the end, the two are still friends.
Yeonjun (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

โหเฟ Their relationship: The two have known each other since 2017 because of their trainee days and have always been really close friends and have always had a flirtatious relationship going on for years until Yeonjun finally decided it take things further and take Lana out for a date to see if it will work out. Their relationship was very spontaneous and fun, and the two cared and loved for each other deeply, they would clash a lot romantically. Although Lana loves Yeonjun as a friend, she found many faults in him as a boyfriend towards her, especially over the fact that she didn't like how friendly Yeonjun was to others. Towards the end of their relationship the two were constantly fighting and most of the time it was always related back to Jay. Yeonjun didn't like how close Lana was to Jay and didn't think her relationship to him was anything platonic. In the end, it was Lana who had to break things off with Yeonjun knowing that if they were together any longer it was going to ruin their friendship forever and her relationship with the rest of the txt members which she didn't have the heart to. Jungwon
They are each other's favourite person and are very protective over each other. No matter how old Jungwon gets Lana will always see him as her little brother. Although Jungwon doesn't really like to show his emotions and remain strong from the group, Lana has always been the person he goes to whenever he feels down or overwhelmed because she knows exactly how to comfort him and be there for him.
She is always supporting his antics and lets him do whatever he wants. Are so famous for their chaotic lives together (most of the time Jay is also there). Whenever they are next to each other, they are always clung to each other in some type of way whether that be holding hands or linking their arms with each other or resting their heads. Have so many moments where they walking and swinging their arms with each other. Jungwon literally calls Lana and Jay his mum and dad even in front engenes, like that is his mum and dad?? and whenever they are fighting he says he is a child of divorce and always finds a way to get them to make up which doesn't take too long. She is also always calling him her son, to which then Jay corrects to 'OUR SON.'
Plane ride buddies always and in general they are always pairing up with each other. They are both quite clingy with each other and are always cuddling. She is always teaching him English slang to which he always uses incorrectly but she doesn't bother correcting because she finds it so funny and cute. She has a folder saved of all the funny things he says.

Heesung
01 besties. Heesung was the first member she met in enhypen back when they were trainees under BigHit. Although Heesung is only 1 month older than her, she very much sees him as her older brother and always said that she has wanted an older brother and now she has one. Lana doesn't really like showing her vulnerable side but always knows that she can count on Heesung because there never has been a moment where he hasn't been there for her (brb crying). She is also one of the rare few people he can truly be honest and vulnerable with.
Both knew txt before they debuted and trained alongside with them and are still close friends with the rest of the boys, especially Beomgyu. Are an iconic trio with Beomgyu and went viral when they did live together with him. These two are very much each other's emotional support buddy especially since Lana doesn't really allow herself to get too emotional around the other boys besides Jay and Jake. They are always seen lingering around each other and whispering. She is always missing him the most whenever he isn't around and she thinks it's because he is the first member she met and naturally has formed that bond with him that cannot be replaced with the others.
After Jay, fans ship Lana with Heesung the most thinking they would make a really cute and attractive couple.
Jay
Their relationship is quite literally the definition of an old married couple. They are always arguing with each other about something but at the same time are so loyal to each other and always have each other's back no matter what.
The two first met back when they were both trainees under BigHit but weren't really friends until I-land. the first time they really spoke to each other was when they were in an elevator together alone and it stopped working making Lana freak out and Jay tried calming her down. From that day onwards Lana knew that Jay was a good guy and that she could trust him. Jay remembers the first time he saw Lana and that he couldn't help but think that she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen and then she opened her mouth and he realised oh she was put on this earth to drive him insane.
But they love to annoy and tease each other, mainly because that's the only way they know how to grab each other's attention?? they bicker so much that it comes across borderline flirting. They both get easily jealous when they don't give each other enough attention. And although they both aren't big on physical touch, are both quite clingy with each other and always find some sort of excuse to hug or touch each other. Fans noticed this back from I-land days they would always be the first to hug each other. Jay is very protective over Lana and always keeps an eye on her. He absolutely cannot stand the sight of seeing Lana cry, it breaks him. Lana hates seeing Jay upset knowing how prideful Jay can be and will do anything to take his pain away (this feeling towards him started from I-land and she knew from then onwards she never wanted to see Jay in that state again).
Despite always arguing with each other they are always hanging out and love to spoil each other. They are always out shopping, going out to restaurants, cafes, art galleries, etc (jay never allows Lana to pay and is always spoiling her). These two are such a menace together. Like please don't put these two together for anything because it is pure chaos and will not get anything done. So much laughter and screaming. They are always laughing and nobody knows why, and god forbid they are laughing at someone, they are the last people you would want laughing at you. They act like two drunken besties on a night out honestly. Lana loves Sunghoon and finds him funny for no reason, especially when he speaks English.
Sunghoon remembers the first time he saw Lana and was so intimated by her and he never knows why really because she is the most silliest person he knows?? Lana is always trying to hook him up with girls (which he hates because what is he meant to do??). She is always facepalming when he doesn't get the memo or is too straightforward when a girl makes it obvious that she's into him (he has no rizz). Believe me when I say she has tried setting Sunghoon up with Wonyong several times and he just doesn't get it.
Lana is always giving him shit when he calls himself attractive or the most attractive member of the group and then proceeds to argue with him saying that Jay is the most attractive to which Sunghoon then goes ?? (Jungwon and Sunoo are cheering in the background).
Always have each other's back but will never say it directly to each other's face. Sunghoon loves Lana like a sister and will glare any man that looks at her (he is very protective over her). She loves accompanying him to go ice skating. Are such a visual attack whenever they are standing next to each other and always go viral for their looks. Some engenes have suspected that Sunghoon has a little crush on her but don't think Lana feels the same about him.
Jake
Aussie siblings, confirmed. They bonded straight away when they found out they were both Australian and didn't leave each other's side. The first day they met and spoke to each other on I-land they clung onto each other and didn't want to leave each other's side. When they get the chance to they love to lay down and just reminisce on their childhood and their life back in Australia. Jake has always wanted an older sister and very much loves Lana like she was one.
They love to gang up together and bully Jay for his americanness. You best believe they are always talking in English with each other and are teaching Jungwon and Niki Australian slang. Whenever Lana feels homesick she always goes to Jake knowing that he exactly knows how she feels and vice versa. It broke her heart when she first saw Jake cry over missing his family and friends back in Australia and she didn't have the heart to let go of him. Both have always said that they would to go back to Australia and experience it together.
They give the best hugs. Certified besties and are so loyal to each other. This is a duo that engenes absolutely love and adore but don't ship romantically because they see it more as sibling relationship. Are both visibly disgusted when they see fans shipping them together.
Sunoo
Besties of course. They are always gossiping with each other and stay up late at night. From the moment Lana saw Sunoo she knew she wanted to be best friends with him. These two are always going viral for their shared facial expressions especially at award shows and they look over each other. Love to judge the other boys with each other especially when they are around girls knowing that they don't have any game. She is also really close with his sister.
Fans always say that they would love to be in on this friendship because they know they have all the tea on everyone. Love to have chill hangouts watching movies and baking. Lana loves talking to Sunoo the best because she says it's not the same with the other boys and that Sunoo always matches her energy and brings her so much joy. Siblings in every lifetime. Lana will literally kill anyone that says anything bad towards Niki and don't even get her started on when Niki was a minor and he was being sexualised, oh she was so mad. They are both very protective over each other and love each other dearly. Niki will never forget how loyal and supportive Lana was to him during their I-land days and for that he vowed that he will do whatever Lana asks of him no matter what.
Love to ragebait Jay together. She makes him teach her Japanese swear words and started learning Japanese so that she can speak to him in Japanese whenever he needs to and then they proceeded to ragebait Jay in Japanese.
Lana thinks Niki is the coolest person ever, which sometimes pisses her off because in her mind he like 12 and why is 12 year old cooler than her. She is always in such awe of him and is so proud of how far he is come, which she never fails to mention to him (in which he never fails to tear up to because he loves Lana the most in the group). He is forever thankful to have Lana in the group because he doesn't think he could survive without having his sister by his side and always having his back. Both can do no wrong in each other's eyes.

Rina couldn't get that last interaction with Jay out of her head. It was replaying in her head on a constant loop. Why did she do to make Jay dislike her so much? in fact that interaction made her realise that Jay has always been like that with her โ cold and indifferent. This crush of hers was never going to end up anywhere, only disappointment.
They were getting ready to play the next game and the members were deciding who to pick to run for them
"well, don't look at me I suck at running" Rina says obviously to them
"we weren't looking at you" Chaewon says back making Rina gasp and hit her and she starts laughing. In the end they end up choosing Eunchae and for the second round it was Yunjin. For Yunjin's round she grabbed Rina
"why'd you choose me?" Rina asks baffled
"because you like jump rope" Yunjin says to her obviously
"yeah when I was like 7" Rina points out as Yunjin drags her along running
"yeah, well you're my best bet" Yunjin says back
Jay watched as the two bickered as they ran and tried to stray his attention away from Rina and focus on something else. Still feeling bad for their last interaction. He knew he had to find some way to apologise to her some time today.
Rina spots Seungkwan and says to Yunjin "you should've picked him to do jump rope"
"do you think we can swap?" Yunjin then asks and looks over at Seungkwan who was with Fromis 9's Chaeyoung . Their mission is someone with good diction.
"she wants to swap" Seungkwan tells Na Pd
"what is it?" Yeonjun asks Rina and Yunjin and sees their mission and can't help but laugh "she should find someone else"
Rina sends him a glare and threatens to punch him making him laugh even more "I'd like to see you try"
"I'm not good at tongue twisters" Seungkwan admits to Chaeyoung and then looks over at Rina and asks her casually as if they were already friends "Rina, are you good with diction"
"oh, she definitely is" Yunjin answers on her behalf
"I can do double under" Seungkwan says to them "I was in the jump robe club"
"see I told you!" Rina says to Yunjin hitting her arm
Seungkwan laughs at Rina "how do you know that?"
"I didn't know you were in a jump robe club but I know you're good at jump robe" Rina says and Seungkwan raises his eyebrows "I'm a carat"
"Oh really?" Seungkwan says warmly and starts moving in closer to her, wanting to speak with her more "how come I don't know of this"
"I think that's a good thing" Rina says to him laughing
"so should we swap?" Chaeyoung asks and they all nod as Seungkwan goes to Yunjin and Rina to Chaeyoung.
When it was enhypen's turn for their mission. Jungwon had Baekho with Lee Hyun and they got Bakeho to arm wrestle. When Baekho lifted his sleeves to prepare and show off his msucles, Rina goes over to to Jungwon and hits his arm playfully "I hate to break it you but I think you're screwed"
"don't say that" Jungwon says to her laughing but knowing deep down that she was probably right
Once it was Le sserfim's mission with the jump rope Seungkwan fails immediately and Rina dies from laughter
Yunjin looks at Rina in disbelief "you said he was good at it"
"he was the one in a jump robe club" Rina points out still very much laughing
"honestly, they probably would have been better with sticking with Rina doing jump rope" Jake says laughing from where he was
"is she good at it or something?" Jay asks trying to sound uninterested
"she's actually pretty good at it, I was just trying to get on her nerves before" Yeonjun joins in the conversation and Jay nods his head zoning out of the conversation and watched as Rina was laughing at the front. How he wished he could join in on the conversation and say how he knew her.
Now it was time for Rina to complete fromis 9's mission. Rina fails halfway and Seungkwan runs over to her going to hug her
"it's okay, we failed together" Seungkwan says to her and Rina laughs into him
"I don't think that's something to celebrate" Rina says patting his back and over his back she saw Jay sitting at his table with his members and makes immediate eye contact with him. They both linger a little too long before Rina breaks the contact.
Once that activity was over and they got some rest Na Pd went back to the program "It's finally lunch time you've all been waiting for. Because we're busy today, it's open for only 10 minutes. It's first come, first serve"
Rina gets up once she noticed everyone else getting up "see ya" she says jokingly to her members
"see ya later alienator" Kazuha says running after her making Rina laugh loudly
"its see ya later alligator not alienator" Rina says to her and now Kazuha was laughing loudly
They were laughing so loudly that she didn't notice that Jay was standing right in front of her. He glances back shortly at her and they make eye contact. Rina once again looks away first and Jay sighs.
"hey" he says working up the courage's and leans back so that she could hear
"oh, um hey?" Rina says looking at him confused and then looking back at front where everyone else was lined up in front of them
"listen um I just wanted to say sorry" Jay saysย in English
Rina blinks at him " for what?"ย
"For before. I didn't mean to act so cold with you or ever for that matter" Jay explains and searched her face trying to figure out what she was thinking. If she even noticed or cared at all.ย
"It's fine" she says to him bluntly and Jay sighsย
"No, it's not fine, I don't want you to think that I hate you or something, cause that's not the case at all" He says to her and looks looks aroundย them consciously
"Listen, I don't think this is right place to be talking about this"ย
"They're all distracted right now so I think it's fine" Jay tells herย
"You know you don't need to bother in apologising to me for Jake's sake, you don't have to like me just because I''m friends with him. We don't need to be friends because of Jake-" She starts and he cuts her offย
"This has nothing to do with Jake, I'm apologising because I want to-"ย
"But why? I know you don't like me, every time I'm around you look like you'd rather be anywhere else-"ย
"What? that's not true at all" Jay says furrowing his eyebrows in confusionย
"oh really it's not?" she testsย
He nods his head sternly at her, looking deeply in her eyes "yes, in fact it's quite the opposite. I've always wanted to talk to you but I don't know how"ย
"Oh" Rina now says not knowing what to say or doย
"I'm sorry you thought that" Jay says clearing up the awkward airย
"you could have just said hi" Rina now says softly to him with a smile and he couldn't help but smile back at her
"and you would have said hi back?" Jay asks her, raising his eyebrowsย
"well I wouldn't have ignored you" she says laughing and now Jay couldn't wipe the smile off his face from the sound of her laughย
"so friends then?" he asksย
and she nods her head at him, her eyes sparkling back at him "yeah, I'd like that"ย
Next thing they knew it was Jay was at the front of the line and it was his turn.
"Jay. Pick one" Na Pd tells him "it's common knowledge. Bach is the father of classical music. Then who is the mother of classical music?"
"The mother of classical music?" Jay asks back
"Yes. 3, 2, 1"
Jay looks back at Rina and she gives him a shrugged look
Na Pd says to him warningly "don't look at her for answers"
Jay didn't get it the answer and looks back at Rina again dumbfounded. Rina laughs cutely at him "it's ok I wouldn't have gotten it either"
Rina was next and her question was related to a commercial from the 90s "the 90s? do I look I was born in the 90s"
Na Pd and the staff laugh at her answer "is that your answer?"
"you'e definitely not getting any other answer" Rina says making them laugh even more and now she was at the back of the line with Jay who was talking with Hoshi, Joshua, Seungkwan and Beomgyu
"Seungkwan was just telling me you're a carat" Joshua now says talking to Rina
"I can't believe you guys didn't know that" Rina says like it was the most obvious fact about her, which it kinda was, she's always loudly represented that she was a carat
"yeah we actually had no idea"
"really? I feel like I've spoken about it before online" Rina says titling her head
"I know that you're a carat" Jay says joining in out of nowhere and now Rina was titling her head even further
"how do you know? and not them?" Rina asks him amused
"I saw you blasting one of their songs one time when I was walking past your practice room" Jay admits but regretting it immediately because now he felt exposed
Rina's cheeks turn pink and Seungkwan just wanted to hug her "ugh, look at her she's so cute our little carat" and now she was turning even more red
Joshua laughs and tells Seungkwan to stop "you're getting her all embarrassed"
Jay mouths 'sorry' to her and she shakes her head at him indicating that it was nothing. What didn't know was that she wasn't blushing because she was all shy around the seventeen members but because Jay had seen her and noticed her dancing around acting like an idiot no doubt.
It was Jay's turn again
"the capital city of the US?" Na pd asks him
"Washington" Jay answers without hesitation
"Correct"
"Yes!" Jay cheers and looks happily at Rina who rolls her eyes
"that was too easy! you were literally born there"
Jay raises his eyebrows at her "how'd you know I was born in Washington?"
"I didn't know that, I meant that you were born in the Us" Rina says playing it cooly and Jay nods his head unconvinced
"yeah, sure sure, whatever you say" Jay says walking away to grab his lunch finally
Now it was Rina's turn again and she flicks through the papers trying to read through the questions and Na Pd catches her
"I choose this one" Rina says cheekily
Na pd laughs and grabs one he knows she didn't look at "how about this... you are so lucky... 8 times 6?"
"8 times 6, thats 48" Rina says confused on how easy that was
"correct!"
"cheating has its rewards" Rina says more to herself nodding her head making everyone around her laugh
"I don't think that's what you're suppose to take away from this" Yeonjun says behind her
"you know its bad if yeonjun is telling you that" Sunghoon comments as Rina now grabs her lunch all happy now. Jay hadn't sat down yet and was standing nearby watching her
"and you thought my question was easy" Jay jokes
"shut up!' Rina says laughing and felt her stomach flutter at the thought of him waiting for her turn. She's always wanted to speak to him more, to get to know him, to become friends with him, for him to feel the same way about her...
She wasn't entirely sure on his feelings towards her but at least she was one step closer in getting to know him.
"what did you get?" Jay now asks her looking at her lunch and they compare their lunches
"by the way you didn't need to wait for me" Rina tells him softly
Jay shrugs like it was nothing "I just wanted to know if you would know what 8 times 6 is"
Rina nudges him laughing "oi, fuck off"
Jay laughs at her Aussie accent "you're so Australian"
"and you're so American"

synopsis: rina is le sserafim's sixth member and joins the group for HYBE's game caterers special. rina can't help but catch enhypen's jay's eyes and attention
side note: this is a little different from everything else I've written here and a bit of a side quest from my seventeen x added member pic sorry ๐ I saw enhypen the other night and wanted to write a cute fic on him so here it is! I'm actually thinking of making this into a series so let's see how that goes...
Rina walked in with her le sserafim members waving to all the staff and crew as they settled themselves in and headed towards their tent. Rina had her arms linked with Yunjin. The two being naturally the closest among the group.
"I'm actually kinda excited for today" Rina admits to Yunjin
"Yeah, I wonder why" Yunjin jokes winking at Rina and Rina rolls her eyes
"Not because of that" Rina says, that being Jay, "we've never done this kinda content before"
Yunjin nods her head "yeah, I think we'll have loads of fun today"
After all the groups came and did their introductions for the opening ceremony, they all returned back to their seats. The staff start setting the place up for the first game to be played. As the staff were getting ready, Rina had a fan in her hand was blowing it in her face and singing simultaneously in it making Sakura laugh at her silliness.
"Now, let's start the first game" Na pd starts saying through a microphone "It's so hot, but you only have some bottles of lukewarm water to prevent you from dehydration"
Yunjin eye's Rina's water bottle and notices that she had already finished it and couldn't help but laugh at her. One thing about Rina was that she is always thirsty
"There's nothing inside your coolers. This game is to fill your cooler. If you don't do well in this game in weather like this you might end up breaking up your band" Na pd says
"We renewed the contact only recently" Rina hears Seventeen shout in response making Rina laugh really loudly and clap her hand over her mouth. She only there was going to be a lot of that today if she was near the seventeen members
"The first game is Red HYBE Green HYBE" Na Pd tells them and starts explaining the rules so that they all can get ready to play. Rina gets up and starts dramatically stretching and Eunchae joins her find it entertaining
"you know what the plan is, we hide behind really tall people" Rina tells Eunchae and she nods her head in unison. Rina grabs a hold of Eunchae's hand and immediately goes to hide behind Seventeen's Mingyu. Mingyu notices this and looks behind him and sees the two girls
"why hello"
"mind if we hide behind you" Rina asks him
"I can't tell if you're threatening me or not" Mingyu says laughing
Rina shrugs at him "either way we're hiding behind you"
"Genius" Yunjin says not far from them and goes to join them
Rina eyes Yunjin "bro, you're like a giant there's no point"
Yunjin scoffs "yeah but look at him he's like extra giant"
"yeah, he's huge look at his bicep it's like bigger than my whole body" Rina says admiring his arms as Mingyu was silently laughing at the girls. Jay was standing not far from where Rina was overhearing her and tried to suppress his laugh. He couldn't help but find her so amusing.
Jungwon notices this and teases "what are you so smiley about?"
Jay snaps out of it "what?"
Jungwon rolls his eyes "you're so obvious"
"Is everyone here?" Seungkwan asks, he was hosting the game "organise your bangs and wipe your sweats"
Rina dramatically pushes both sides of her hair and it manages to whip Yunjin who whips her hair back at her making the two girls giggle
"Start already" Mingyu yells at Seungkwan
"Okay. I'll make the first one long for you to move in ease" Seungkwan tells them and turns away from them "I'll begin"
Everyone starts running forward. Both Rina and Jay run to the cooler nearest them, both of their heads almost bumping into each other as they were about to lean down. Sunghoon and Niki were on both sides of them watching the interaction
Rina looks down at the cooler as Jay lifts the lid as they both make eye contact "this isn't it" Jay says as they both looked down at the warm date herb tea
"hmm not bad" Rina says contemplating it and Jay gives her a side glance "what it could be worse"
"worse than herb tea?"
"it could have been eggplants" Rina says unseriously and Jay tries not to laugh, meanwhile Sunghoon and Niki were very much laughing "well, see you guys later"
Rina starts then starts heading towards the other cooler where Yeonjun, Heuning Kai, Jake and Sunghoon made it to. Jay was right behind them with Rina.
Yeongjun sticks his hand into the cooler and says "ah cold, cold"
Rina laughs at him and Yeonjun gives her a friendly glare and then says "there's coke"
Rina tries to look into the cooler eagerly and says "coke?"
Jay notices this as he goes into the cooler and goes to grab it for her before he notices it's not coke
"oh, what da heck that's not coke" Rina says disappointed and decides to go somewhere else
Jake laughs and mimics her Australian accent "what da heck"
In that moment Seungkwan turns around and sees Mingyu running forward makes eye contact with Mingyu "Oh? but I haven't said it yet. Kim Mingyu you may leave"
Mingyu was now eliminated "well there goes my scapegoat" Rina says under her breath
Rina looks over at where Eunchae and Kazuha where and saw that they were holding juices "yah, if there's coke grab some for me"
"there's no coke but there's peach iced tea" Kazuha squeals happily for Rina as Rina runs towards them to help them out and head towards the finish line.
"who said grab me coke?" Seungkwan asks laughing and was about to turn around but Mingyu stops him
"yah let her be" Mingyu says to him, already feeling a brotherly instinct towards Rina.
A few moments later Jay also made his way to the finish line, with two cans of coke in his hand and was about to walk towards Rina but Jake beat him to it
"Hey, Rina here" Jake says handing her his can of coke
"thanks, Jakey you're the best" Rina says smiling and side hugging him. Jay tightly grips the coke in his hand and looks away from the two, and tries to calm himself down. He hated feeling jealous, especially towards his own friend and member.
Yunjin looks over at where Jay was and saw the uncomfortable look on his face when he was looking over at Rina and Jake. Oh this was perfect.
"ooo, is that mango?" Rina asks excitedly at Sakura eyeing the bottle of juice
"yes it is! I thought it was orange first" Sakura tells her
"such a score" Rina says in her Aussie English
"such a score!" Kazuha giggles back mimicking Rina
"we have 2 watermelons!' Yunjin tells her members happily and they all huddle excitedly showing each other what they got
Rina had seen Jay around the HYBE building, at awards and at music events but had never really spoken to him properly before, just awkward smiles and curt nods at recognising each other whenever they would walk past each other or run into each other in the elevator. She was friends with Jake โ them both being Aussie idols in the industry, naturally being drawn to each other and easily becoming friends โ but she's never really had the chance to speak to Jay or the other members all that much. They also had mutual friends, that being the TXT members, but again never had the chance to talk to each other.
Rina has always found Jay cute, her members also noticing that Rina found him cute, her gaze always lingering a little longer than she usually would on anyone. They would always urge her to make a move on him but she was always shy in doing so.
She never really thought he noticed her all that much, but that was until today. Rina couldn't help but notice Jay looking at her and keeping his gaze on her. At first she brushed it off as nothing, she thought that maybe he was simply just looking over at her direction or at something or someone past her, but it evidently became clearer that he was looking at her, even she couldn't deny that. And why would he not look at her, Rina looked breathtaking that day, everyone thought so.
"we should take some of this watermelon to the other groups who don't have any" Sakura says sweetly, thinking of the others
"Yes, yes you're right" Yunjin nods her head and helps by putting some watermelon on a plate and shoves it towards to Rina "take some to the enhypen members"
Rina gives Yunjin a glare and shoves it back to her, knowing what her tactic was here "hmm, nope, looks like they have some"
"hmm, just act dumb and act like you didn't know they had some" Yunjin says wiggling her eyebrows
Kazuha shakes her head at the two girls, covering her mouth while laughing "I hope they realise we're being filmed right now"
"ugh, this is so embarrassing" Rina mutters under her breath grimacing making Yunjin laugh and takes the watermelon towards where enhypen was sitting
Jay immediately notices when Rina was heading their way and tries to act nonchalant, as if he didn't notice her, not wanting to be too obvious.
"is that for us?" Jake asks Rina in English getting up from his seat and walking to her, wrapping an arm around her in a friendly manner. Jay clenches his jaw at this interaction.
Rina nods her head smiling and awkwardly says with a laugh replying back in English as well "yeah, but it seems like you guys already have some so"
"please don't go, hang with us for a bit" Jake says, his arm still wrapped around her
"yah, Rina do you have any for us?" Rina hears Beomgyu's voice from behind her "we were trying to make it obvious to these idiots here that we wanted some and they ignored us!"
Rina jokingly gasps dramatically at Jake "you guys should be ashamed of yourselves"
"we were gonna give them some but Niki here was gonna take half watermelon to them without cutting it!" Heeseung explains
"sure, blame me" Niki says rolling his eyes
"you can just have some of ours then" Rina says to Beomgyu and before she goes over to the rest of the TXT members Jay says to her in a cold manner that he didn't intend at all, "we're already cutting some for them"
Sunghoon wanted to slap Jay himself if they weren't surrounded by others. Jay was such an idiot.
"oh... well I guess I'll just go back to the girls then" Rina says, avoiding eye contact with Jay, feeling like her heart was gonna beat out of her chest. She was gonna kill Yunjin. This was so much more embarrassing than she ever thought would be.
"that doesn't mean I want you to leave" Jay mutters and Jungwon side eyes him
"idiot" Jungwon mutters at Jay and shakes his head as Rina went off and started talking to Yeonjun who she was now laughing with. Jay sighed loudly and wanted to bang his head on the table.

Stella told herself that she was going to be strong. She has been telling herself that every single time they go to send off one of the members to the military and every time she fails. It becomes harder and harder for her each time.
They had a concert the weekend before Woozi and Hoshi's enlistment days and the members had all planned to journey together to the location of their bases and spend the night before together as much as possible. Everyone but Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who obviously wouldn't have been able to join them.
The members had lunch together before Woozi and Hoshi had to go and shared moments of memories and laughter, both times Stella promised herself she wouldn't cry and remain strong. But of course, each time she breaks down as their saying goodbye.
But the second Woozi started crying when the members sent him off, Stella was balling her eyes out which made Woozi cry even more. He didn't realise how hard it was going to be to say goodbye to them.
Vernon knew that she was going to miss each member that would go to the military and that she misses when they were all 14 and together, but he also knew deep down it was because she was scared for when most the members, including him, will be gone โ he knew she was dreading that day โ although she has never once told him.
"wah, i just realised it's gonna be a while until we're all 14 again" Hoshi says and Stella makes a whimpering sound. Vernon looks at her concerned, and wraps an arm around her
"you just realised?" Mingyu questions while laughing
"by the time i've finished my military service, Soyoon and Hansol's kid will be like 2 what the hell!" Hoshi gasps
Stella scrunches her face and unconsciously places a hand on her stomach. She's two months pregnant at this stage.
"the math isn't mathing but the thought is there" Vernon comments
Hoshi affectionately hugs Stella says "if you guys have a boy, will you name it after me?"
"i will literally give you my first born child" Stella dramatically says back
"Ehh?" Vernon questions, tilting his head in disapprovingly making Dk laugh at his reaction.
"why are you acting like you're dying?" Mingyu questions Hoshi
"even if he was dying i still wouldn't name my son after him" Vernon says after
Stella glares at both Vernon and Mingyu "don't say things like that!"
"Don't worry Soyoona, i'm not dying and i will be back before you know it" Hoshi now says sweetly and Stella felt the tears well up in her eyes
Seungkwan not far behind her was wiping away his tears says, "can you not, you're gonna make her cry"
"cause you're not crying?" Dino says to him laughing but he was also teary eyed
"babe, its gonna be okay" Vernon says to her softly as he rubs her back
"no, it's not i'm all alone" Stella says pouting
Vernon furrows his eyebrows at that comment "you're not alone, you have me and the rest of the members"
She shakes her head "you'll be going soon to and the rest"
He didn't expect her to say that now, even though he knew she has thought it, "when i go for my service i will still be with you, you know right? and besides not all the members will be gone, you'll still have Josh, Jun and Hao"
"it won't be the same" she says but she wasn't looking at him, which was worrying him
"i know but by that time our baby will be born" he now says hoping it will cheer her up but it only made her feel worse
"i don't want to think about that right now" Stella says and then takes a deep sigh "sorry, i'm being a downer aren't i?"
"stell, you know you can tell me anything? i already know you've been thinking all of this but no matter what happens i'm always here yeah? and time will go faster than you think and we will all be together again" Vernon says to her softly
"I know but it won't be the same as it use to be" Stella now comments
He nods his head thoughtfully, "you're right it won't be, but that doesn't mean it will be a bad thing"
Stella lets out a shaky breath "i guess when you put it like that i sound so silly and childish"
Vernon shakes his head at her and says "how many times do i need to tell you that what you feel is never silly or childish to me"
He leans into her and presses a kiss on the top of her head and Stella smiles into him "i don't wanna say goodbye"
"i know baby, but i promise it will get better"
"i'm blaming this on my hormones" Stella then says
"oh yeah, you have every right to use those cards for the next 7 months" Vernon says nodding his head
"are you guys done being so sappy we need to take a photo together!" Dino calls over to them
Stella and Vernon walk over to the group to take a photo. Hoshi immediately grabs a hold of Stella's hand so that she could stand besides him in the photo. She leans her head against his shoulder.
"don't tell anyone this but i'm gonna miss you the most" Hoshi whispers to her and now she was crying
"yah what did you say to her!' Seungkwan yells at Hoshi
"wait, we should take a photo of all of us holding Stella's bump!" Dk then suggests
"absolutely not" Vernon says without hesitation from not far

The video starts off with Stella opening the door to her and Vernon's shared apartment in Seoul, South Korea. Stella has a huge grin on her face as she greets the camera and the interviewer
Stella: Hi Vogue, this is Stella from SEVENTEEN, and welcome to my apartment in Seoul!
Stella opens the door to let the interviwer into her apartment and they walk through the hallway into the dining and living area
Q1: Hi Stella, first question is how do you usually start your day?
Stella: I hate to admit this but the first thing i do is check my phone and then i get up to wash my face where i disassociate for the next 30 minutes
Q2: What makes you happiest?
Stella: Cats of course!
Q3: What's your favourite holiday?
Stella: I love halloween, but that's because it's an excuse to watch and read gothic horror
Q4: Do you have a favourite movie you love to watch during halloween?
Stella: The corpse bride
Q5: What are three things you cannot live without?
Stella: headphones, my water bottle and unfortunately my phone

Stella: just one? my boyfriend... oh wait he's my fiance now *shows off her engagement ring with a smug look on her face*

Stella: I think i would have pursued ballet but if not something related to writing

Stella: i see what you did there *laughs*... how young 17 is! and that i should be more present and stop caring what others my age are doing

Stella: Jeonghan...wait... nope, still Jeonghan. I just want to know what he thinks of every second of the day
Q24: who was the first member you met?
Stella: the first member i met was Wonwoo actually. I think they wanted Joshua to come to greet me first since he also spoke fluent English but Wonwoo was out in the hallway and i had bumped into him. My halemoni was with me too!
Q25: What was the first ever concert you attended?
Stella: Ooo my first concert was Avril Lavigne. I think i was 11?
Q26: Who is an artist you would love to see live?
Stella: oh my godness there are so many but i think i'm gonna go with Rihanna, that's if she ever decides to get back into music but if not Lady Gaga?
Q27: Do you have a favourite city you've been to on tour?
Stella: i always love touring China and any place that we havenโt been to before
Q28: and are there any cities you would love to tour in the future?
Stella: Definitely anywhere in Europe. we were meant to visit some cities in Europe for our An Ode tour but it got cancelled cause of Covid sadly
Q29: outside of touring, are there any places on your wishlist?
Stella: oh god there's so many, but if i had to choose maybe Scotland or France
Q30: I know you're from Australia, do you prefer Australian or Korean food?
Stella: *laughs* Korean, no questions asked

Stella: ohh there's this chocolate called carmello koalas, they are delicious but we don't have anything like that in Korea

Stella: hmm i really love Mexican and Middle Eastern food

Stella: right now it's pinwheel

Stella: My family and childhood friends

Stella: hmm thats such a hard question! i love all of them but i would say either attaca or an ode are my favouite

Stella: oh definitely getting closer and hit, they are so exhausting to perform

Stella: *laughs* right now its Minghao, actually he is always my favourite member

Stella: closer with? i think Seungkwan

Stella: it switches between Vernon and Joshua
Q40: and what about on planes, do you have a member you tend to sit with?
Stella: these days i always sit with my boyfriend cause i easily get motion sickness and i like having him next to me but before we started dating i would always sit with either Wonwoo or Minghao
Q41: What artist would you love to collab with?
Stella: As SEVENTEEN i know Hoshi would love to collab with Justin Bieber but i really think it would be cool if we could collab with Doja Cat but they don't see the vision. As a solo artist though i would really love to collab with Olivia Rodrigo or Kali Uchis
Q42: Have you picked up any odd habits from your members?
Stella: Too many *laughs* maybe just random things they tend to say a lot, like Jeonghan says "eyyy" a lot so i say that a lot too even when he's not around
Q43: What is something that you have learned from your members that means a lot to you?
Stella: oh wow... when i was younger i would easily get embarrassed but something i've learned from them or really appreciate is how they don't care what others think and are so plainly themselves. I don't know i really love how they love to make other people laugh and smile.
Q44: What is your favourite thing of your boyfriend's to steal?
Stella: *laughs* you must know that i really love to steal his stuff! i love taking his jackets cause they're so comfy and they smell like him
Q45: what is something you have always wanted to do but never have gotten to?
Stella: umm... horse riding! that's been a dream of mine since i was a kid
Q46: Do you have any plans on doing that any soon?
Stella: i hope so!

Stella: i've really been into knitting and crocheting in the past year

Stella: that's such a hard question! i don't think i have one favourite book but if i have to recommend one of my favourites it would be my brillant friend by Elena Ferrante

Stella: Secret society of irregular witches. It's a cozy fantasy book, it's super cute
Q53: is there any particularly genre of music you've been into lately?
Stella: punk rock music, especially early 200s, thats definitely influenced by my boyfriend
Q54: Speaking of your boyfriend, do you have a favourite gift that he has gotten you?
Stella: favourite gift? i'm a simple girl so i really love thoughtful gifts. i actually don't know if this cheesy but he made me a physical mixtape of one of our shared playlists

Stella: *blushes* yes i know, i agree! i mean, there's a lot of sweet gifts he's gotten me over the years, he also got me a cat last year as a surprise

Stella: oh that could mean anything!...hmm maybe my library

Stella: haha yes! actually this was also something my boyfriend did for me, he made sure that this apartment had room for somewhere to create a library

Stella: I prefer simpler and quiet dates. I love just going out to the movies and grabbing dinner after
Q59: What's the best compliment you have ever received?
Stella: my favourites are always from other girls. I love hearing from another girl that they love my outfit or that they think my makeup looks pretty, it means i am doing something right!
Q60: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Stella: *sighs*... 34 *laughs* i'm joking, but by the time i hope i'm married and have kids that are growing up. I just want a quiet and simple life with my Vernon
Q61: What is your happiest memory?
Stella: recently it was when we got kidnapped for nana tour, that was really fun and all us members got to create so many fun memories together
Q62: What was your favourite thing to do when you first moved to Korea?
Stella: I really loved going to all the touristy places and exploring whilst getting to know my members

Stella: Jeonghan. I remember my first thought was that i really wanted to be with friends with him
