Perfectionist. plans everything ahead of time.
Group Five: Sakusa, Matsukawa, Hinata and Hoshiumi.
Note: Another chapter of the series. I confess that I was a bit cautious writing about Sakusa, it's my first time doing it and I know how precious he is to this fandom. I hope it's good enough! đŹđ€
Check out the series masterlist for more details and chapters, and if today is your day, I wish you a happy birthday!
Present: crochet gloves and scarf.
Sakusa isn't a conventional boyfriend. When he chooses a gift for someone, he doesn't prioritize the fun or pleasure, but the safety. Sometimes he gives something completely so secure that is pointless, like the thermometer he gave to his aunt, or a bag of tea boxes he gave to Koromi. But on your birthday, he decided to change his pattern a little.
A lot of people at school don't know, but Sakusa knows how to knit â and very well. He learned from his grandmother, and practically all the pillowcases in the house were made by his hands. So, taking advantage of this hobby, he decides to knit a pair of gloves and a scarf for you, in your favorite color. It's something stylish, you'll wear it a lot and it will even protect you from the cold. Perfect.
He takes four days to knit everything, and after washing it carefully so it doesn't have any traces of germs, he puts it in a sanitized present box decorated by a beautiful red bow.
Omi personally bring the gift to your home, and a goofy smile appears on his face when you take off his mask to give him a grateful kiss. You looked so adorable wearing the clothes he made for you, he didn't even bother putting the mask back on.
"It looks beautiful on you, flower."
Present: the best cake ever.
Matsukawa loves serving people. He takes pleasure in making someone happy for something he did. And that pleasure doubles when he makes someone happy with his food. With that, he had no doubts about what to give you this year.
He's a great cook, but his big passion is bakery. Seriously, the sweets he makes are out of this world. You and Aobajosai's team feel extremely privileged, the boys even fight over his chocolate cookies.
Matsukawa then decides to bake a cake especially for you. A perfect cake, with the dough, filling and icing you like most. He wants everything to come out flawless, so he makes a point of tasting all the flavors and even redoing the dough until it's ideal. And he's done with the decoration, putting heart cookies on top of the cake and a phrase in frosting: "Happy birthday, my sweet _____."
Trust me, you didn't want to stop eating after the first bite. It was that good. And your boyfriend couldn't be happier for having your approval.
Your birthday is one of the most important events for Hinata. He wants you to know how much you are appreciated, not only by him, but by other people who admire you. Your existence brings him so much joy, and he wants to celebrate it.
Hinata is not only thoughtful, but also very creative. He doesn't need fancy plans to give you a gift, he just needs something with meaning. And so comes the idea of ââa photo album, containing all the best memories of your life with the people you love.
He buys a notebook, and asks each of your and his friends to send him photos they have with you. After receiving the pictures, he goes to the printer and turns them into polaroids, to paste them on the notebook pages. He not only pastes photos, but also significant tickets, and some notes with love messages from your friends, or with phrases that marked each memorie.
After decorating and crafting the album, it's finally done, and it still contains blank pages to fill in the future. When he hands you the gift, he expected a happy reaction, but he was surprised to see tears on your face as you flipped through the album. At that moment Hinata was sure you liked the gift from the bottom of your heart.
"We love you, _____." He says, not just on his behalf, but on behalf of everyone who contributed as well.
Present: a sketch of you.
This boy gets eager to give you a gift on your birthday. He likes to cherish you in any way he can, if there was a competition of who can pamper you more, you can be sure that Hoshiumi would win.
But for him it's not enough just to pamper you with ordinary gifts. No, he wants to give you something special, something that no one will think of giving you. Something original. And then, while researching gift ideas on the internet, a lightbulb lit up in his mind.
He's not a professional, but Hoshiumi is very fond of drawing. He discovered this passion through the art classes and the mangas he read, and since then, he has been practicing and perfecting his technique. He still has a lot to learn, but what he knows is enough to draw beautiful and realistic sketchs.
So he decided to draw you. In fact, he already has some little drawings of you on his pad, but this time is different. He wants a real masterpiece, something that can be hung on the wall and seen by many people. So he starts, drawing your lines perfectly until you appear in the sketch, sitting in a cherry tree, simply enjoying nature.
It takes almost two weeks to get ready, but he finishes in time for your birthday. Imagine your shock at receiving from your boyfriend a framed sketch of yourself. It was so breathtaking, you had no idea how wonderful you are. Something Hoshiumi makes a point of reminding you.
"Now you see what I see in you every day: the most beautiful girl in this world."
