This morning's fruits of our labour - my husband's buttery pastry vegetable pie and my apple oat crumble. This will last us 3 days. So, today has been totally manic. I gave a talk to a womens group about herbal self-care, then I took my car to the garage to have a new tyre as mine had a slow puncture. I've had a very busy but thoroughly enjoyable day. I was teaching this morning, then book signing part of the afternoon. I met lots of wonderful people and was touched when one lady said she'd left her job as a lawyer to follow her dream of working with animals after reading my book 🙏. She'd also travelled from Sussex to the book signing event. . I arrived home to this book delivery which I can't wait to get stuck into. I was inspired to create this Nootka Seaglass pendant after visiting a friend near Sudbury last month who's subject of interest is all things Byzantine. I shall call this pendant 'Byzantium'. I love how the red seaglass which is from my 1983 North Yorkshire collection, coupled with the Russian azure glass faceted beads creates an Eastern Orthodox look.
