* Astrophage is more like a virus that either alters people, causing them to commit crimes or violent acts, or a power that supervillains are starting to use.
* Grace is still a middle school teacher who got bitten by the spider, obviously.
* Adrian is the one who stitched up the suit (the Aunt May of this universe).
* He has all the perks of a normal Spider-Man, but he's still Grace, so he's incredibly clumsy. He does have a super-strong spider sense, and that's what saves him 100% of the time, but he absolutely does not have the agility. When adrenaline kicks in, he can do anything, but otherwise he'll trip over the most ridiculous things.
* He was wearing his yellow raincoat the first time he saved someone, so now he wears it over his suit (along with his white Converse).
* The spider was discovered by SHIELD (which is undercover as a scientific research facility that Grace works for part-time). After the original test subjects (who were only able to survive the spider mutations if they possessed a specific gene) were killed in an attack, Eva delivered the spider to Grace so he could be bitten before other villains got their hands on that power. (My boy gets unwillingly turned into a savior in every universe.)
* Simon is still an ex-convict who, in exchange for his freedom, is asked by the evil company of the day to test a series of mines infected by what appears to be blood from a meteorite (which eventually turns out to be the symbiote Ellie!).
* At first, they wanted to kill each other, but they end up becoming besties.

Florist Au, but Robert finds a little Fire Fairy in his lilies.
Running a flower shop can be quite tedious, but Robert likes it and has inherited the business from his father, who, in turn, had gotten it from his father before him. Robertson and Son has been a Torrence staple for over 50 years now.
And it was fine. Robert enjoyed creating arrangements, bouquets, and floral designs for weddings. Wasn't the biggest fan of funerals, but who was, right? He had a steady life, repeat customers, and a fairly expected boom around Mother's Day and Valentine's.
It was peaceful. It was quiet. It was... boring as hell if he was honest with himself. Robert was a solitary creature, having only a few employees under his employ and a total of one (1) friend, who also doubled as his childhood babysitter. But who was counting, right?
Well, his teenage front desk worker, Courtney, did, when she wasn't smoking up the place despite some acute asthma. Chase did as well, in the moments when he wasn't grumbling at Robert to give him Beef for the weekend.
Life is steady. Mechanical. Dull. Cold.
And then one day, Robert receives a shipment of exotic lilies, opens up the carefully packaged box, and finds... Something unexpected.
A tiny glowing man is sleeping in the middle of the prettiest looking flower, right in the middle of the box. He's warm, swathed in rolling waves of heat and light that surprisingly don't seem to affect any of the flowers around him. His hair is floating above his head with a little magical-looking fire. The petals cradle him like a bed.
I’m working on a fic based on this, and I drew Fire Fairy Flambae! Took a while to get the wings how I envisioned, but I’m pretty pleased! I’ll probably use writers block time to design the other characters as Fae creatures too.

Horse Girl AU (HGAU)! In which Hob busts a wild and abused centaur by the name of Dream out of the circus and attempts to earn that horse's trust. This is difficult since Dream hates humans and wants nothing to do with them. The two go on an adventure.
I post the comics in somewhat chronological order. On occasion I will jump back to add a new beat or scene I wasn't motivated to do at the time so this master post is nice for me to flesh out previous scenes or moments while still letting everyone read things sequentially. ENJOY!

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.
We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.
In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that, including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.
I will be participating in Tumblr Blackouts in protest of the new update from March 18th to the 21st. I will not be returning prior to the 21st unless I hear from elsewhere that Tumblr rolled it back.
In the meantime, I will be continuing to spam the feedback form.
I encourage everyone else to do the same.
