70 degrees in February equals the perfect weather for doodling strangers at the river
I converted an old book I found at a thrift shop into a sketchbook. Can’t wait to see what inspiration this brings out of me. I started off with a self portrait on the cover, mostly to reflect these new braids. More to come!
Did you know that Australia has laws that literally monitor a woman’s vaginal appearance in soft core porn?
Jezebel writes on the subject, “According to the Classification Board, which has the pleasure of enforcing these matters, unrestricted softcore mags are allowed to show frontal nudity, but "only discreet genital detail." In their words, "There should be no genital emphasis." That's pretty vague, and so softcore editors and publishers are playing it safe. Says one former editor, "The only acceptable vagina as far as the Classification Board is concerned is one that is 'neat and tidy' in their eyes. They basically consider labia minora too offensive for soft porn."”
Why does this matter? Because life imitates art. Sometimes life imitates art with a completely unnecessary surgical procedure called a labiaplasty. To be clear, a labiaplasty has virtually no positive health benefits and can result in harmful side effects. Don’t let misinformation about your anatomy down there lead you to get a surgery you really really don’t need.
What is imposter syndrome?
Imposter Syndrome is the constant low-level fear that you do not deserve the professional success you have and that sooner or later the people around you are going to figure out you are a fraud.
I created a website prototype to teach girls that suffer from imposter syndrome about the scope and solutions for the problem as well as remind them that they are not alone.

Repping both of my heritages in one painting. This is a Christmas gift for my dad who hails from the island of St. Thomas. P.S. It also glows in the dark
In case ya’ll were wondering why I’ve been so neglectful about posting the past couple of months. I’ve been working pretty hard writing, illustrating, and designing an educational book about vaginas and all the cultural, political, and anatomical issues surrounding them.
If you have interest in potentially seeing something like this hit the shelves, reblog. All the support helps.

inktober day 7: I really love this Alphonse Mucha series of stamps I have going, what do you guys think I should do next?
Inktober day 6 taught me that too much detail in a stamp is time consuming and confusing to the overall design. Oh well, lesson learned
#inktober days 4&5. Debate doodles and handmade stamp experimentation. Clearly linoleum doesn't like me trying to cheat the system by not buying a roller.
