“She’s always so cheery with her endless questions you’d have no idea she’s so sad inside. She wears that mask well.”
For everyone planning to kill themselves in the event of a Trump victory:
Don’t.
We need you. The world needs you. We’ve been through this before, in one way or another, and we have prevailed. Who benefits from your death? Only those who want you silenced.
There will be blue skies ahead. There will be triumphs. This is not the end of the world.
Do not go gentle - we are here today because of the stubborn refusal of our predecessors to go away. There are oases even in the darkest of times. You are not alone, and you have not been abandoned. There *will* be blue skies ahead, and you will live to see them.

let me tell you something: no one is going to look at you, broken and shattered and think - damn, you are beautiful. no one is going to come pick up your broken pieces off the floor and assemble them into a beautiful whole. hell, you won’t even look at yourself and think - I made broken look beautiful. you know why? because all those writers lied to you. yes, all those with their poems of scraped knuckles and blood dripping down chins, pomegranate songs and loves that ripped through you like hurricanes. liars. so you and i, we are going to make a plan. you are not going to romanticize days when your brain tells you to smash that mirror, you are not going to romanticize the lover who doesn’t understand you but still writes about you. here is what you are going to romanticize instead: you are going to romanticize the first day of spring, its gentle hands all over your body, lifting you up until you are as light as a feather. you are going to romanticize the tea and honey kind of love, no hurricanes, but sunshine that builds you up from within, that helps you make it through the worst days. you are going to romanticize gentle hands of a friend in yours, telling you that it is going to be okay. because it is. and don’t trust poets, we’re no good, we love pretending that our jagged edges tantamount to a beautiful disaster, but in reality - there ain’t nothing beautiful about shaky hands holding a cigarette and empty eyes staring at the cracks in the walls. you know what is beautiful, instead? the days when you can look at yourself in the mirror and smile, scars and all. music that makes your soul flow like a river, books that offer comfort, families flocking together like overgrown birds to keep you safe and warm, friends that give you strength when you can find none, lovers who make you laugh through tears. baby, from now on you are going to romanticize healing; honey dripping down your fingertips, August nights that stick to your skin, the day you find your purpose, long car rides and singing so loud that no one can shut you up now. bad news: no one is coming to save you. good news: you can save yourself.

I know I'm completely fashion illiterate, and I'm definitely missing something here... but I 100% do not understand this.
That's a table cloth.
That's not an article of clothing. That should have a hundred different stains on it from being constantly bombarded with pieces of food.
Cool rope bracelet though.

Stranger Things
So this series completely snuck up on me. I had only seen the trailer, and even then, I had been busy doing something else while it was playing. Being vaguely interested, I watched the first episode hoping to kill some time on a rainy day. 8 hours later I had finished the entire season, and was left wanting to do nothing but watch it all over again.
The show undoubtedly has a few faults, but I only gave them a thought after the credits had already begun to roll. Every second of the show pulled me into the world and engaged me as a viewer. Saying that, there were parts of the show that made it better than a simple nostalgic exercise (some spoilers ahead...):
First, the music. Yes, the opening theme is spellbinding, and I love it, but what makes the music so awesome is its use within the story. To me, there was never a moment when the score felt out of place. Every tone or sensations was elevated, whether it was with a creepy synthetic beat, with a quiet melody, with the insertion of a classic song, or even with near silence.
Next, the way in which the supporting cast being fleshed out made everything seem realistic, even in a world where there’s a gateway to an alternate dimension (I think?) in the woods by their houses. There were some minor missteps along the way, but for the vast majority of the show, each character acted in ways that not only made sense, but also in ways that I could see myself acting in their situations. A mother trying to keep herself grounded in reality. A young outcast not knowing who to trust or how to accept the offer of friendship. A bright eyed young girl struggling to balance what she wants and what others want from her. They all materialize in front of me as real people.
The boys. Mike is by far the centre of attention out of the three (what with his interactions with Eleven and all that), but when all of them are together, or interacting with each other, they make fascinating things happen on screen. They’re child actors but they were funny, witty, and a delight to see on camera. Every interaction between them was realistic and seemed like a conversation I might have had with my own friends when I was 12.
Finally, Millie Brown’s portrayal of El really made the show for me. She was always soft-spoken and nervous, but she commanded the attention of the camera and became the focus of every scene she was in. While much of that has to do with the writing of her character, I find it incredible that I can be as enthralled by a character when she is flipping a van with her mind as I am when she is huddled with her hands around her knees being wracked by fear and painful memories (or just eating some Eggos). She made me want to crush anyone that had ever hurt her, while also making me realize that she could do that herself. I mentioned in the previous point that the boys did extremely well despite being young, but Millie seemed like she had been working in the business for decades. Silence allowed for her eyes to show vulnerability, terror, relief, pain, and even at times an eerie malevolence. All I know is that I’m ready for this girl to take on some big projects in the future (hopefully more excellent seasons with El).
I may get excited over too many things, but if the next season continues the intrigue and carries the feeling of these episodes, then I cannot wait to see where the series goes next.

weird wild wolf children
Little Birds
The kids in King's Landing are alarmingly ok with straight up murdering hundreds of people and stabbing a Maester 300 times just to get some fuckin candy.
Ramin. Djawadi.
Acting = fantastic Cinematography = superb Script = compelling Character payoff = next level awesome (someone is going to die for this next season) Music = oh man. I didn't even care about King's Landing. But that score. Holy shit. The build up tho. And how it set the tone for everything. Like goddam. My ears are blessed. Praise Ramin.
GoT Villains
Soooooo I think Cersei just gave an A+ interview for filling the position of best murderous psychopath on the show. Didn’t take that long to find someone close to Ramsay level insanity.
Game of Thrones just fucking SLAYED me.
“Promise me, Ned” “The King in the North!”
