Hey there! That's new update for you! We're trying different approaches, testing different mechanics, basic animations and lights. The game starts to form into something more particular - a 3D real-time strategy with a glimpse of action. We're trying to combine different mechanics from two successful and popular games: X-COM and FTL. Greetings. This is our blog on Tumblr, where we are going to post updates to the game development.
Northwards of Roswell is a 3D real-time strategy game with elements of genetic mutations. You are an alien, crashed somewhere in US of 60s. You travel across the country in search of all the scattered pieces of your ship to rebuild it and fly away to your home planet.
The project is in pre-production phase, and we work hard on different approaches to find out the best solutions for gameplay, controls and the general feeling of the game.
