Why do I have such a weird name??? Welp goes a long way back, all the way back into 2018 when I was trying to decide a wattpad account name. Choose this to be qUIrKy and it just stuck. :)

I type realllllyyyy fast and don’t check for spelling errors so uhhh there. I get really embarrassed by that too-
I should add this, I have huge/high anxiety, get embarrassed really easily, and might have suspected bpd, autism, and ADD. (Though I can’t get any of it checked out yet because absolutely no one is listening to me.) I definitely have Maladaptive daydreaming.
I am also really bad at tone reading and sometimes I get offended or triggered easily (my bad chat)

I think that the logs of Grace should become more and more creepy in the first logs in which Grace can't remember how he is and he is alter and confuse, and trying to understand what is happening, if they are video there would be a lot of minutes of Grace just stops rambling to start watching at the distance with empty eyes, if the logs are writen then the text start losing coherence the long it goes, been more thoughts and words than sentences.
When Rocky cames by the logs turn better, Grace has some days with insomnia but his spirits are way higher than before, making jokes and excitedly explaining the progress that they had been able to do.
When Rocky is unconcious Grace's logs turn more depresive again, in the video logs Grace looks obviously hurt, skin burn, nose crooked, face with dry tears and grim, his voice very low and at the edge of crying. The logs been very short sentences, as if trying to disconect itself from the content.
To then be the happiest of man when Rocky is awake and they have the taumeba.

If Grace keeps doing logs when he is going to Erid the video logs just show how he slowly turns into a living skeleton and his writen log just turn into incomprehensible things
this is prime proof that this ENTIRE WEBSITE is autistic because nowhere else would a no tags post that's just an informative list about slang get this much traction.
So I’ve read posts and fics about Grace discovering his aroaceness and exploring what that means to him and I would like to point out that his canonical friendship with Marissa is a GOLDMINE for exploring aroace Grace as a concept. Like, consider:
Grace comparing his feelings about his ex-girlfriend Linda to his comparatively much more comfortable and fun platonic relationship with Marissa
Grace feeling anxious about whether Marissa might have feelings for him (man is terrified he has been taken OUT of the friendzone)
Grace being relieved when Marissa honestly tells him she has no romantic or sexual interest in him but likes being around him anyway
Grace having a hard time articulating to other people why he and Marissa aren’t attracted to each other
Grace being part of the reason Marissa and his roommate broke up because his friendship made her have higher standards for men overall
Grace attempting to date post-Linda and every woman he meets being intimidated by his friendship with Marissa, which he finds hard to understand.
Grace realizing Marissa is also dealing with people she dates not liking how much time she spends with him.
Marissa choosing Grace’s friendship over her boyfriends every time
Grace and Marissa getting older and coworkers being confused why they aren’t married
I like headcanoning Marissa as a scientist working to develop solar powered tech for the DOE and so Grace sometimes invites her to talk to his class about renewable energy. Imagine students asking if there’s something between them.
People dismissing Marissa’s significance in Grace’s life because he calls her his “friend,” and not anything else. Asking him to cancel on his Thursday dinner date with her, or implying that he must find her unattractive, or even implying that she has a crush on him and he’s leading her on (or vice versa)
Grace and Marissa needing to fake being in a relationship for some sort of accidental situation they find themselves in and both being like “ok that was really weird” afterwards
Someone suggesting Marissa is like a sister figure to Grace and he doesn’t think that’s accurate either
Marissa is probably the only existing human character who Grace was close enough to plausibly share some degree of actual physical affection with. He’s not hugging Stratt, that’s for sure.
No seriously I need more fics where they hug.

It must've already been mind-blowing to Rocky to learn that, yeah humans can just perceive the stars by looking at the night sky. Not that actual stars though, we're technically perceiving the ancient past bc that's how far away the stars are it's basic physics. :) like bro must've been all wtf hello?? But then. To learn that, ohh yes that's how humans used navigate across the oceans of our planet, we looked at the stars and oriented ourselves against them :). Like what kinda mythical BS is that? You measured yourself against the ancient imperceptible parts of the night sky. and trusted that to take you to unexplored parts of the sea? and it worked? Erid doesn't even have a fucking nighttime. No wonder humans are so insane.
You’ve heard of “you don’t even have a dog” and now for the Marissa fans out there might I suggest people saying to her post-launch:
“You weren’t even together.”
Marissa being legitimately heartbroken and everyone seeing her grieving and unless they happen to know both her and Ryland the FIRST thing they ask is almost always “Were the two of you an item?”
And when she says no then it becomes “did you want to be?” “did you see him as a brother instead?”
Marissa feeling hurt and frustrated because isn’t it enough that they were friends? Is twenty years of late night conversations, inside jokes, tears, laughter, Thursday dinners like clockwork—is that not enough to say she loved him, plain and simple? Is she not allowed to grieve this way, like a piece of her was torn out without anyone even telling her?
But star-crossed love isn’t for friends, they say. It just doesn’t make a good story.

I think whenever Grace dies, his gravesite would always have a guard posted. So that for as long as he sleeps, there is someone watching him. I think there would be a very long waitlist to be the Eridian who gets to watch the site, but it is also not a task to be taken lightly. Not only are you tasked with watching Grace sleep, but one also has to keep the area clean, calm, and protected, and maybe be able to answer a few common questions about the hero. It's not quite a holy sight, but it also holds a certain amount of reverence.
When they learn about the program, the second humans to arrive on Erid take shifts watching Grace sleep. They are allowed to skip to the front of the queue. They find that, surprisingly, it isn't a large memorial or anything monumental; they had seen the large statues of Grace and Rocky across two worlds. But this one is small, intimate, a hollow chamber with a few places to sit scattered throughout. It is not a traditional gravesite; instead, it has the layout of an Eridian-style classroom.
There are many people who don’t share this sentiment, but I have an appreciation for when a fanfic is so separated from canon that it could’ve easily been its own original novel, and yet the author was only ever going to put that much energy into it if their favourite characters got to be there
I think there’s a difference between “the author stripped the media of everything it had to replace it with something easy” and “the author thought up a concept they really really like and are bestowing it upon the character like a medal”
