There are a lot of references and parallels to previous seasons in heartstopper forever and I love that! Iāve seen people talk about nick and Taos conversation or nick and Charlie playing in the snow or their kiss after racing each other (this is just a few thereās a lot more examples). But I havenāt seen anyone comparing Tara and Darcyās kiss under rainbow lights at a party (s1e3) to nick and Charlieās kiss under rainbow lights at a club (epilogue of the movie). I think they look very similar. Itās sweet because nick has grown in his confidence and identity to become the kind of person that inspired him in the first place. In season two Charlie and Tara had a whole conversation about how he is jealous that Tara and Darcy can hold hands and kiss in public. Look at him now, weāve come so far
Please donāt let fandom ruin something you love. Walk away and unfollow the fans and enjoy the thing by yourself, or find a limited circle of people who ignore the discourse, or get your irl friends into the thing and collectively ignore the Internet community, or blacklist from here to the moon if you need to and only ever scroll through your rarepair shipās tag on AO3.
