The customer isn't always right they're just a brat.
in customer service, “i’ll let someone know” means “im forgetting this immediately” and i think that’s beautiful
it can also mean "I think you're an arse, I don't want to deal with it, so imma go get my manager and make it their problem" which is its own type of beauty
So I'm kind of stuck here? Aldi rejected me and my lidle location was the only store not hiring out of all lidle stores 🥲
I love it when my coach violates ethics! 🙃

“I know so many women that haven’t defended themselves in situations they definitely should’ve and could have because we know that the repercussion more likely than not is going to fall on the woman that responds to the violence than the initial violence inflicted,” [Emma Lee] said,
quote from the article, including the name of the cool hammer lady ^_^
I was worried that she was going to lose her job or be otherwise penalized for self-defense but worry not: she's the owner!

You know it's a shame I give maintenance a flammable, hazardous spill item and he just tells me to it throw away ...
PPE out the window! EPA and hazardous waste disposal procedure (a code red btw) also out the window 🙃
I guess cbls for proper procedure means nothing here.
You know I thought I had every nerve covered that hated capitalism but capitalism found a new nerve of mine to piss off. Wendy's had plans they to start dynamic pricing, surge pricing. Its inflation but at peak hours of the day.
Consumers are already fed up with capitalism in many ways, for siding with Israel to the already established inflation that has stayed for nearly two years. Consumers are making thier voices loud and clear by spending less and boycotting sending shockwaves within ceo circles. Yet they have done nothing to appeal to their consumer base, you know, the hand that feed them...but I digress.
Now Wendy's is backtracking and gaslighting everyone, reiterating that the surge pricing is false words were "taken out of context" and that the company is rolling out digital menus so displays can be changed. I'm not buying what the CEO is cooking.
Middle managers in retail stores are horrified by the idea that one might work a job exclusively because they want to be paid, rather than because they find a grand, cosmic purpose in standing behind a cash register all day.
My dreams of leaving retail up in smoke
