Vincent sits quietly, staring out the window upon the snow-covered town below. He can feel the chill of the air outside radiating through the glass, prickling at his skin. The television is announcing the local news, illuminating the otherwise dark room with a series of whites and blues and reds. Nearby his smart phone buzzes, alerting him of an incoming notification.

He stands up slowly and moves over to his phone, checking the screen.. “...They miss me, huh?” On the phone is a message from Yuffie, excitedly and enthusiastically typed out complete with emoticons and exclamation marks. He taps out a short reply, hits send, then closes the phone.

Vincent’s head turns as he hears the apartment door open.

“tattoo ink and contacts. aesthetics.” yeah it was childish but he’s playing along so uta could careless. he was gonna keep bugging him with questions anyways. “what’s with your energy? it’s all… edgy.” he settled for that, atleast right now.

Contacts and tattoo ink. It sounds painful, though probably not as painful as the cause of Vincent’s own crimson irises, Chaos. “...Is it?” Vincent’s aura likely has a slew of reasons to be ‘edgy’. The demon within him, his inner guilt, thirty years of slumber. “My aura... I can’t help it. Sorry...”

“i was right? oooo. lucky guess, we should play twenty questions. i already asked you a question.” grins at the latter, this play nice thing was pretty .. “fun” sometimes.

☮ ━ What do you do to try and get the muse to roleplay a character?

I typically will watch shows (or video game cutscene movies on Youtube) multiple times within the span of a few days. The first time is, obviously, the first time when I first encounter a character. The second time varies. For Vincent and Link, I watched the cutscenes to refresh on characterization and story (as I hadn’t played those games in so long). But if it’s a show I just discovered, the second time is used to grab screenshots for icons.

Then I’ll talk nonstop about characters because I’m a dork and when I muse a character it becomes all I talk about,

This is gonna sound super cliché and goffick considering who I’m RPing right now, but I really like gloomy, cloudy, cold, and windy days. Sunny days with a cool breeze are nice, but a chilly fall afternoon following a light sprinkle of rain has always been my favorite.
