May 26th, 11:50 Quite a late start today, but it’s sunday and I definitely needed the extra sleep. Now I’m having some breakfast while I try to read on the influence of Japan on French art for my Contemporary Art exam that is coming up. Bonus: My cat staring into the void of existence.

i seem to have lots of essays this week which is Fun… guess it’s my fault for choosing so many humanities subjects 😭 but literally half of my teachers have set essays (or big essay plans) to do all in this one week and i am now drowning in them… wish me luck

saturday, 31/08/2019 so The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt is one of the best things that happened to me in the world of literature in quite a while. it managed to bring back this genuine excitement of reading, of not being able to stop, of missing the right station in the metro because I was so absorbed by the book that couldn’t see anything around me. truly magical
