I am firmly pro-hip pop in selfies. Ladies, make your booty look like you want it to look in your pictures.
I’ve seen lecturing about it on here ~for your health~ and yes, hyperlordosis/anterior pelvic tilt, as a postural deviation, is not something you want.
But a pose =/= posture.
And the people posting like it’s the same thing should know better. And in fact, I think they do know better, because you don’t see them harping on, say…
kyphosis or forward head posture or asymmetrical hip rotation in this pose:
or the tremendous amount of asymmetrical shoulder position in this pose:
Or, really, any other typically masculine pose.
Besides the lecturing, all sorts of snarky comments abound: “I didn’t have to hip pop for this booty,” etc etc and it’s just the same old tired “I’m not like other girls” BS that is so, so boring.
Honestly, women are going to get shit on for anything we do, so live your life and pop your hip in your selfie if it makes you happy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
