"We don’t know it’s a boy, Jay." He smiled a little. "I think we’re gonna wait and see. Since everything seems to be going well anyway." Billy chortled softly, shaking his head. "He isn’t an idiot, son."
Billy watched Jackie and the ferret with an amused smile, but it blanked to a confused look as he felt an odd sensation from his midsection. He was starting to wonder what the heck that was, until it resolved itself into a firm kick to his side. “Oh! Jeez, he’s kicking…”
"It is. Mini Smelly is not an option." He grunted, "No, you must tell me! I have to know now! There is planning to be done! Like, which hero do we paint on their bedroom?" The puppy wiggled and began licking Jay's face in an attempt to get him to stop talking.
Jackie gently petted the animals head before staring at Billy's stomach, again in complete horror at what her father had just said. The child is kicking him? She wasn't having any of that, immediately the toddler began screaming obscenities.
