Hi my dear people of tumblr!
I'm Jolie, twenty-two, and currently trying to remember what's supposed to go into an introduction post.
My pronounce are she/her, and I'm Polish-German (yes, I already know all the WWII jokes haha).
The teams I root for include the San Jose Sharks (hockey), the Blue Jays and the Mets (baseball) and the FC St. Pauli (European football).
That said, I personally absolutely SUCK at all ball games, so I'm a judoka—no balls for me, yay!
Here's a list of my other interests—and as said, I'm a very lonly creature with way too much screen time—so if you share any of these, I'm begging you to drop an ask or message me!
Music. I'm a musician (piano, oboe, voice), and I basically sing 24/7. For me, the holy grail of music includes classical, broadway, and alternative rock. My favorite song of all time is Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees.
Literature. Everything. From fanfiction over fantasy to classics. (In reality, it's probably 99% ao3, but shhh!)
Languages and Culture. I grew up bilingual and was very lucky to have parents who always attached great importance to showing me and my siblings the world. And that's another reason I love the internet and digital communities—the opportunity to connect with so many different people.
Politics. A tiring topic right now, I know. Still, an indispensable and important part of our lives—and one I strive to be as well educated as possible in.
Any science-related field. I'm in the last year of my biochemistry bachelor and I firmly believe we need more women in STEM!
