Whenever I post about being a local bakery manager in a past life, I inevitably get responses like "Fuck your bourgeoisie life, all power to the workers!" or "You are a literal slave driver" but like... every place I was a manager I basically just went from baking 8+ hours a day to at best baking 7+ hours a day and doing orders and writing schedules for 1+ hours. In most cases, I was still baking 8+ hours a day and then doing the managerial stuff on top of that. Some of y'all hear "supervisor" and immediately think "C-suite" or something.
