Looking into the Kylux ship has made me realize that, in its most basic form, it’s just the gay/bad-guy version of HanLeia. In their most basic forms both ships include:

a guarded military leader who tries to put their work above their feeling, has a shaky ‘enemies to lovers’ relationship with a cocky hothead they’re forced to work with. The two constantly fight while their gay/blonde friend just waits in the background for it to end

After seeing the clone wars episode where it’s shown Hondo Ohnaka and Aurra Sing we’re once together, it made me think that Hondo definitely has a string of flings/relationships that usually end with a crate getting thrown at his head
