Here are some suggested customizations for a better experience. 1. Add symbols to the hex pieces. It was such a pain having to keep referencing a sheet to remember what each space does. 2. Add some custom ranges to the attack spells. We felt the game could have done a better job of taking advantage of this mechanic and made it more important to focus on position. So we mixed things up and even added variants across duplicate spells 3. Add a one-turn cool-down mechanic for level two attack spells and higher. These were just too powerful and sort of removed the need to strategize once they were obtained, especially in two-player games. A cool-down mostly fixes this.
