What can I say?” He wasn’t even going to try to beat around the bush, that wasn’t Dean’s style.

Of course, she didn't mind the compliments or a person that was straightforward but at the same time there was some shock to the situation. It was easy for her to be cocky in all of this, but, beyond that she would be kidding herself to say she wasn't happy to be in his presence.
