Do you have any lore for it yet?

I do have some lore. There’s still some stuff I need to hammer out and I want to do some research on actual little nightmares lore.

But I will tell you about some of what I have!

Disclaimer: I still don’t completely understand LN lore and I’m changing things to fit my au better so if this isn’t entirely accurate that’s why.

1. Rocky is alive! He’s just in a very deep sleep. He’s also not evil. The Eridians are from a different dream realm. Rocky and some other Eridians got lost and stuck in the nightmare realm. The other monsters/entities are scared of the Eridians which is why the cave Rocky’s in is safe for the kids. They don’t know that unfortunately so no kids ever stay for long. They do like the weird rocks tho, so they leave little trinkets with them.

2. Ryland and Simon were both lured into the nightmare realm from the real world. Simon remembers how he got there and that there might be a way back, but he doesn’t really want to go back. Ryland can’t really remember anything before waking up in the nightmare. He knows he’s looking for someone something but doesn’t know what it is.

3. Ryland found a flashlight right after he woke up. It’s just a normal flashlight, but he’s proud of himself for finding something useful.

4. Simon has a map. He’s been mapping a lot of the areas in the nightmare. He’s explored quite a bit and knows the patterns of some of the monsters/entities. He used to kill the monsters but after he lost his arm he stopped. (He also started traveling with Ryland and he doesn’t want Ryland to think badly of him)

That’s all for now. I have more but I don’t want to spoil anything ;)

Grace sends this off as a "fuck you" to Stratt and unintentionally eases 40+ years of horrific guilt.

(40+ factoring in the Hail Mary mission, then the time it would take to get back to Erid and the time it would take for the message to get to Earth. Probably closer to 50+ actually).

(I do think Stratt felt bad. She did a lot of terrible things to save the planet, and obviously felt guilt for sending Grace off. I imagine the time waiting to hear back from the Hail Mary was torture for everyone, but she essentially sent three people off to their deaths, one unwillingly. Hearing that Grace made it out alive would be a huge weight off her shoulders.)
